First stay since rebuild, it's a whole new hotel. Large corner one bedroom suite offered plenty of space for 3 of us. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Liked having fridge, micro, 2 TVs, balcony with table and chairs. Nice forest view. Beds very comfortable but extremely high, difficult for some folks. Only negative was elevator inoperable to 2nd floor, not fun...

Dropped in here for dinner Friday night. No space on the deck but our server was right on the ball and slid us in to a table soon as guests paid their bill. Friday night is Prime Rib special and it was a large meal complete with Yorkshire pudding and the meat was very flavourful. My partner had a prawn...

The rooms are nice, The bathroom was nicer than the main room, which seemed a bit stark! The lack of air conditioning would not be a problem 10 months of the year. As we were there in August, sleep was close to impossible. we were on the view side, our son was in a room on the lobby side (...

We stopped on our Sunshine Coast trip to Earl's Cove, Egmont and we really liked it! The view of the bay was absolutely amazing! Their Grasshopper restaurant menu has great varieties and we were amazed to find some Indian dishes on the menu! We true out somethings and it was great! However advised them to add some vegetarian dishes as...

I am disappointed to find that the newly reopened Grasshopper Pub doesn't have it's own listing yet, as our two meals there were so good I felt compelled to write a review. The pub is modern and the menu very appealing. The service was great and when inquiring about whether the onion rings were hand prepared I learned that they...

Noisy pub, whilst we were able to sit outside inside would be unbearable. From the patio there is a good view of the harbor down below. There is a reasonable menu but nothing strikingly good. Regrettably nothing to entice me to return

Had a nice dinner and a few drinks. Food was good all around. Four people four things. Halibut and chips, butter chicken, liver and onions, burger with yam fries- all great. Decent portions, great new building, decent prices, fabulous view of the water. Highly recommended.

We stopped at the Grasshopper pub on a Sunday night for a quick bite. There were two full tables that were so loud we couldn't even talk. We had a beer and left. The beer selection was pretty limited, most pubs offer better local selections. Too bad, since the menu looked good.

We travelled up to Pender Harbour to have a lunch at one of our favorite spots only to find it closed, so we chose the Grasshopper Pub to have a bite to eat. The restaurant and pub/hotel is brand new having been rebuilt after a fire took down the old place. The building isn't that appealing from the road but...

A $49 room rate (off season) was the best around, or for $69 you have a harbour view. The Grasshopper Pub and restaurant is on the main floor. The Hotel was consumed by fire in the fall of 2013 and may be closed for some time.
