Don't know if the other reviewers stayed at or how it is rated so high. The room was like something from the 80's. Cracked walls, water stains on the ceiling, rock hard bed and pillows, dirty floors, no water pressure in bathroom, toilet looked it like it would overflow when flushed. The a/c was super cold even when set to... More

Everything was good especially cleaning the hotel and around them. Staff were friendly. You can use high-speed Internet there. Around the hotel you can see the beautiful scenery and the beautiful sound of birds. But its location was far away from the city. About one KM

We actually enjoyed our night here. Our large on the top floor overlooked the mountains, a beautiful view, but the hotel is old now and looking very tired. The breakfast was very average, but it was a good refuge for a night after cycling 60kms on a bike journey. The bed was large and comfortable and the A/C and wifi... More

Very basic, just for an overstay on your way to chiangmai. Here they serve you a breakfast, with cold baked eggs and th orst coffee. Just because they don't know, what foreigners expect. No lack of trying. Locals don't get in touch with (farang)a lot. So any O.k for a night sleep. The little town, dies have the 7-eleven shops. A private hospital... More

This hotel needs work, the rooms are very dated. The staff where helpful with extra pillows and hot water for tea. Unfortunately the breakfast was awful with little choice and cold eggs. even cereal with some milk would have been a good addition. Only use for a cheap overnight stop.

We stayed here one night while driving from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Conveniently located on main road HWY #1 through town but we drove past 3 times before discovering it was set back from the road and had no sign in English. Our rating is taking into account value for money as this is not a 4 Star hotel! This... More

My cycling buddy and I stayed at the Chainat Thani hotel recently on a cycling trip through Thailand. A very poor hotel. The rooms were old, no hot water in the shower and when we went down to the restaurant to get a beer and some food, we were told the restaurant didn't have any food available or beer either,... Quality of hotels in small towns in Thailand are far from what you can expect in more touristic areas. So that is why I chose to give 'Average' for this one, even though if in a tourist area, I would have given a lower rating. But in this area

Was not expecting anything luxurious in a small provincial town like Chainat and needed a place to stay as I was visiting the in-laws nearby. The Hotel is in need of a revamp but the staff are very nice and polite and the rooms, although a little on the tatty side are clean and do the job. There are other... More
