Detailed Reviews
I spent a few days here for New Year’s Eve celebrations. Great old pub. Stayed in the cabin out the back. Very nice cabin, very clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and fresh.
The music on NYE was very enjoyable. Heath and Sammy were very accommodating and will definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights. Accommodation is rubbish unless you stay in units out the back. Bar was nice and friendly with reasonable food - only trouble was it was only open the first night we were there, for next 2 days not a staff member could be found. Strange experience.

Were waiting for motorbike repairs so asked around in Glen Innes where to go. Sure enough arrived at the pub about 11.30am. Cold cold beer, engaging publican Barry and a couple of friendly locals. Then by the time the kitchen opened the pub had accumulated another dozen or so people and it was buzzing. I ordered a T-bone medium. I can unequivocally say it was cooked perfectly medium. Accompanied by chips and salad, $25. Not bad at all. I sent my compliments to the cook who came out and met us. What a gracious lady. I told her how good her cooking was. Locals were telling us some yarns, had a few beers and found out there are quite a few rooms available for an overnighter. Good food, friendly people, cold beer. What else is there?? Just a great pub.

We've had lunch once or twice before at the Club Hotel, both of which were great, but on our last visit (last weekend) the meal was very ordinary. We noted the addition of solar panels to the roof of the old hotel which added nothing to the heritage appeal of the 1800's building.
In future, will think twice before driving the hour it would take to get there and have a meal.

Really friendly and fun pub. $40/night/person (included continental breakfast) with not bad beds. Communal showers (which were hot) and toilets. Meals bit hit or miss, one night was great next so so but really large servings. Best thing is the friendly nature of the locals and how welcoming they were. We had two great nights at this pub, including being part of the darts comp. Down size, rooms not sound proof so was woken second night by a spontaneous party (fair enough was for a kid who had just finished his HSC). To his credit, the publican shut the party down at 11.00pm. Great place to stay to explore the heritage and history of this region.

This is a real local hotel with a great bar atmosphere. As a foreigner you are welcomed by staff and customers alike. They have a good range of draft beers and plenty of different meals on offer. A good place to relax and unwind

We enjoyed our stay here. A great outback pub. Motel facilities were clean and tidy. Friendly atmosphere in the hotel. We will come again. Highly recommend a visit to the local museum. Some amazing mineral specimens on display. Hotel owner very willing to give you a history of the area.
