We booked this B&B as a little treat for ourselves at the end of a four-day tour of West Cork. Upon arrival, we were really impressed by the garden and the warm sitting-room with its own mini-bar. The bedrooms are all huge and each is decorated in its own style. The decoration of the whole house is quite old-fashioned, but...

Dorothy, you were a wonderful host to us, and your guesthouse is the best one we have ever stayed in. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and we have yet to see the amount of choice you offer for breakfast. Thank you also for showing us all around the 'workshop' and for even showing us your private little home....

We spent last Christmas in Mossie's. And it was just the right thing to do: Dorothée with her warm hospitality made us feel at home any time. We even had dinner every night and in a kind of a Jamie Oliver-stylish simple but delicious food Dorothée absolutely spoiled us. Not to speak about the splendid breakfast in the morning. The...

We stayed for 5 nights, and treated ourselves to the evening meal for every one. The breakfast choice was great, and the evening meals were top quality and very reasonably priced. The honesty bar in the communal living room was well stocked. A satellite TV gives a massive choice of European TV and Radio. A very comfortable room with a...

We stayed for 1 night over here to discover the ring of Beara (which we enjoyed more then the ring of Kerry..), Mossie's itself has a beautiful, secluded garden, we were welcomed by Dorothée in a bit unusual way 'we were expected but came unexpected' (?) strange but in the same time funny (later on it became clear she's a...

We stayed at Mossie's for one night during our two-week trip to Ireland and of all the places we stayed in - it was the best! We only wish we had booked a longer stay because the Ring of Beara has just as much, if not more to offer than the Ring of Kerry! From our arrival, when Dorothea greeted...

This secluded retreat was a welcome sight after a long day of sightseeing. Our room was large, exceptionally clean and quiet. The grounds are well maintained and there is a nice sitting area outside (weather permitting). Dinner was included in our stay and it was wonderful. In the morning we sere served a varied and well prepared breakfast. Our hostess,...

This Superb accommodation that deserves a higher profile. The house décor, garden, breakfast and evening food were all of the highest standard. The owner Dorothea has the ability to make her guests feel special and relaxed in this great setting through her warm demeanour. We stayed in the very large and beautiful Russian Room with wonderful views from its balcony....

We stayed three nights at Mossie's and did not want to leave. The house is set in lovely gardens set well above the road to Adrigole, with views down to Bantry Bay - a very peaceful spot and a perfect place to sit with a cup of tea after a day out. The house is full of character and the...
