We had a very pleasant stay in the 3 cottages of La Charmeraie. Any comfort, linen, towels and cleaning included. The cottages are very well equipped, but only the Prelude has a washing machine. Symphony is the newest, oldest and most traditional Prelude. The two cottages Prelude and Toccata are adjoining, but each cottage is oriented so as to preserve privacy. The very large and secluded estate is ideal for a quiet holiday, with an animal on the loose. The environment is really great with well maintained boxwood and solids, surrounded by beautiful tall trees. The heated pool is large and it is a real plus to relax after visiting the area. Dominique is a very welcoming and considerate host to take care of the wishes of her visitors.

Superb property with 3 comfortable cottages. Warm welcome by the property owner, always listening to our requests. Cottages for 2/4 people, very well appointed, in a country style. Impeccable bedding, linen provided. Very well equipped kitchen. Large park available, superb swimming pool, covered at night to keep the heat (approx. 28° ). 3 weeks of dream vacation. Near Le Bugue and Eyzies for local markets and supplies.

While it was a little difficult to find, we felt like we had stepped into a dream. The La Charmeraie was charming. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the views of the surrounding hillsides were beautiful. The owner was gracious, welcoming, hospitable and very helpful. We had everything we could want. The breakfast was very good. We would love to go back some time.

La Charmeraie is absolutely perfect, down to the last detail. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The garden is breathtaking. The pool is warm and clean. Breakfast was so delicious we couldn't stop eating. But what really made our stay wonderful was Dominique, our host. She has made every single thing absolutely perfect and infused it with her own artistic point of view. She made us feel not like customers, but like friends. I can't imagine a more charming place to stay!!

The place is just amazing! We stayed in two rooms with a WC which were cozy, clean, large and beautiful. Breakfast is great, with bio products of high quality. Dominique is really a special person and the words kind, intelligent and good-humored are not precise enough to describe her. La Dordogne is a "must visit" and there are many things to do there. La Charmeraie is in a good location to visit the area and it is easy to find parking (usually free or not expensive) anywhere. I hope to go back soon and I do recommend La Charmeraie.

"La Charmeraie" is a beautiful property and tastefully decorated country house, set in the picturesque landscape of the Perigord. For us, it was a truly great place to relax outdoors, go hiking, and experience the main tourist sites of the valleys of the Vezere and Dordogne rivers (castles, charming medieval villages, cave dwellings, canoeing,...). Last but not least, we would like to sincerely thank our amazing hosts, Dominique and Henri, for their cordial welcome, hospitality, and the very pleasant time we spent together. It was definitely an encounter and stay which we will not forget.
