Detailed Reviews
Stayed one night in this classic country pub. The room was clean and spacious. Cosy warm bed in very cold conditions. Great hot shower too.
The hosts were extremely kind and helpful with a vehicle breakdown. Food was delicious. Thankfully a better wine selection than most small towns. The well priced Jukebox finished the night off perfectly.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back when we are in the area.

What a little gem this place is. Daniel was so oblidging and absolutely loved the locals who made us so welcome. We stayed at the campsite next door and had great facilities and amazing meals at the pub. A place you need to put on your next trip to somewhere.

Booked into this hotel without knowing anything about it or Quandialla. Was just curious. What a discovery. Such a great place. spacious room and comfortable bed. Renovated modern and clean bathrooms. Beautifully appointed in terms of dining room etc. Provided very good continental breakfast (and I was the only guest that night). Great hospitality. Fine dinner. Certainly worth a diversion to Quandrialla.

Popped in for lunch after a walk through the little town. Nice fire going, and a warm welcome from Danial. Generous meals served with proper salad, and no shiny brioche buns for the hamburger. ie proper hamburger rolls.

Do not stay here! Had the most horrible experience. Is NOT people or pet friendly despite advertising as such. After waiting for the pub to open, were coldly told we could not stay. Because of our 16.5yo 4kg pooch. There were no other campers, the yard was empty. Unbelievable. Unlike nearly every other country publican we've encountered, Daniel has the hardest, completely unwelcoming demeanour and simply would not engage. If I could give zero stars I would. Their loss.

There's not much in Quandialla and probably never has been. Unless you're on the way from West Wyalong to Young there's not much reason to go through there and although there is a railway line the train doesn't stop there.
But in 1914 someone built a pub there and the pub makes it worth a visit. The beer's cold, the staff and locals are friendly and the food is good, honest pub food at very reasonable prices. And there is accommodation. Basic accommodation, but good basic accommodation.
I've stayed in two different rooms now and the full room contents list is: bed, chair, fan. There's a certain stark simplicity to it all that's quite nice. The bed is comfortable, the sheets are clean and the chair is suitable for flinging clothes onto. The showers and toilets are down the hall and are spotlessly clean and the shower is excellent. For $40 a night it's a bargain. I'm told there's about to be caravan facilities next door.
If you're up that way try to find an excuse to drop in.

Room Tip:Â It can be hot up that way in summer, a room on the windward side is nice.

We booked this on spec and couldn't have been more surprised at the great pub we discovered. Run by Daniel who has worked for 8 or 9 years to fix it up. Rooms are spartan but that is part of the charm. The mens bathroom has been completely redone and is kept clean too.....unlike so many country pubs. Locals in the bar were very friendly with good country pub food. We three really loved this pub. Keep it up Dan!

7 years ago we stumbled across this pub in Quandialla NSW, a beautiful farming community
We have been looking for it again ever since & yesterday our years of searching came to an end
We again found it
The food, beverages, decor, service, accomodation is all excellent
You are made to feel right at home
Now we have a sticker on our car so we never forget it
Of our 20 years & 500+ reviews, formal trading in food & beverage service & our reviews, which u can read
We can say this is one of the very best pubs in our opinion
Very well run, an Aussie Gem
We just don't know when we will be back
In the meantime the secret is out, go try for your & let us know what you think- share your experiences

Organised a group of 19 for lunch at the Bland Hotel in June. The food was delicious as we ate out in the garden in the sunshine. Daniel the owner was so friendly and went all out to make our visit to Quandialla very enjoyable. Thank you Daniel, we have told many about our visit to the Bland and recommended they also pay a visit!
