This is a great find, a collection of thoughtfully converted cottages with exquisite attention to detail, but the best thing is that the hosts have really thought very carefully about what you would need to have around you to make a really hassle free holiday! We have all been on holiday to places where we have to pay extra for...

Amazing cottage, total luxary so we'll equipped, has everything you need , can not think of anything that could improve it, 100% perfect, attentive hosts but not to attentive, can't wait to go back, as it was a 40th birthday treat from my wife they gave us a free upgrade and late departure.

Had a cosy stay in Walkers Rest over the New Year and was impressed by the lovely home-made produce awaiting us and the warm welcome from the hosts who had thought of nearly everything. Wheeldon Trees Farm is truly dog friendly (rather than merely dog tolerant) with fantastic walking from the door and in the beautiful surrounding area. We're certainly...

lovely location and view down the valley to Sterndale, quiet and peaceful, great for our old doggie who can't withstand the loud fireworks bangs at home around Bonfire night and Christmas / New Year. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, and always available to assist / advise if needed. Very well appointed cottages, we've stayed 4 times in...

Back for the 4th consecutive year to see in the New Year with friends! Had a fabulous time. Accommodation in Sheldon better than ever - with stunning views and stocked with everything we needed. Can recommend the breakfast basket plus local sausages and bacon too which we pre-ordered. The long-room again provided an escape for the children (now teenagers) to...

Wheeldon Trees was perfect from the minute we drove into the forecourt. The setting is beautiful and no detail has been spared in the conversion of the cottages. The gates to each unit are each of a different design and had been decorated with a wreath for Christmas. We were given a warm welcome and from then on it was...

Just back from another great visit to Sheldon Cottage at Wheelden Tree Farm. The cottage and location is a great escape and relaxation with a number of great eating pubs in the area. The dogs had a good time and are made very welcome. We will return again in the new year. Thanks Pam & Bob

Nestled in the narrow winding roads of Peak District is a small unassuming farm that hides a gem of a holiday cottage. Behind it, is its own small hill that one could climb to watch the fabulous sunrise and sunset, affording 360degree views of the landscape. The cottage is cosy and so well equipped, it brings shame to most homes....

We have been to Wheeldon Trees several times over a few years and never been disappointed, Deborah and Martin are both very welcoming and there's always a nice welcome pack waiting for your arrival, the cottages are very well fitted out with all the home comforts including free WiFi and good TV services should you need to stay indoors, local...
