Just back from another great visit to Sheldon Cottage at Wheelden Tree Farm. The cottage and location is a great escape and relaxation with a number of great eating pubs in the area. The dogs had a good time and are made very welcome. We will return again in the new year. Thanks Pam & Bob

Nestled in the narrow winding roads of Peak District is a small unassuming farm that hides a gem of a holiday cottage. Behind it, is its own small hill that one could climb to watch the fabulous sunrise and sunset, affording 360degree views of the landscape. The cottage is cosy and so well equipped, it brings shame to most homes....

We have been to Wheeldon Trees several times over a few years and never been disappointed, Deborah and Martin are both very welcoming and there's always a nice welcome pack waiting for your arrival, the cottages are very well fitted out with all the home comforts including free WiFi and good TV services should you need to stay indoors, local...

I can say that this is probably the best cottage that we have stayed in and we have rented quite a few over the years. One of the problems we have encountered with self catering cottages in the winter is that they are not very warm but this is not the case a Wheeldon Trees, Heating is self controlled with...

We (a group of friends who like to walk) have just returned for our 8th visit, so we clearly like it! We hire a couple of cottages and enjoy walking and visiting local pubs. The cottages are very comfortable and have everything that we could possibly need and more. Deborah and Martin are welcoming and helpful. We will be back...

Our third trip back to Wheeldon Trees as a family (and fifth trip for me!) was as good as the first! We instantly feel at home, whether it is in our favourite cottage (Sheldon as Oliver, our seven year old, gets to sit on 'his' electric chair) or any of the others (been in four of them now!). It's the...

What can I say? This gem of a place was brilliant. Everything was provided and I mean everything, from the shower gel to a basket with items in for our dog. If you have forgot something or decide you don't want to cook there is a deep freezer full of ready made meals and a little shop with items for...

We stayed in Ollerenshaw Cottage and our stay was fantastic. Everything is really well thought out and there are route notes, waterproof maps and Peak District guidebooks all available to borrow free of charge. There are electric bikes available to rent free of charge and the cottage is situated on the doorstep of the Tissington Trail. There were very nice...

Absolutely everything was thought of for our stay and best of all we could take both of our dogs and everything was available for them! Breakfast basket and the food from the freezer was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!
