Just spent a night here as part of a fitness bootcamp. There is a good onsite restaurant and small bar. You get free Wi-Fi that can only be used in certain area's of the hostel. The rooms were clean and a good size for 6 people to share. Beds were comfotable and it was nice to have a proper duvet....

Hi, Thanks very much for taking the time to review us. We are glad you had a good stay. Apologies for the water pressure, we do have issues with this in certain areas of the building with is being so old. However, are always looking at ways to upgrade facilities. We hope to see you here again in the future.

Just spent 2nights here doing a bootcamp, with 5 friends, rooms are very small, and it is noisy at night, but the staff are really nice and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. You can get free WiFi but only in a small area, reasonable prices

First I must say staffs in the hostel are simply outstanding! they are very helpful. The property is well maintained and near a small but beautiful village. Now to the bad part - My room was at the end of the corridor I can hear every step and a noisy crowd disturbed our sleep. I know I stayed in a...

A second hostel-hop weekend had been planned and booked 3 months in advance for 5 families to meet for a walk to the hostel and then a cycle the following day; 21 of us including 10 children (aged 2-42!) and a pregnant mum! But the weather wasn't kind and we spent 4 hours walking up Wolfscote Dale (sheltered from the...

What a beautiful setting with all the facilities that you could wish for. We stayed two nights with teenage children and even they were wowed by the location and staying in an old manor house. The staff on arrival were welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. We had a relaxing evening by the fire and drinks from...

Thank you PoyntonSmith for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed a break with the family during the busy half term weeks. Admittedly the dining area can get a little full when many take breakfast at the same time but we always make sure there is plenty of food on offer, I hope the cheeky toast thief didn't spoil your dining...
