We Aussies had a wonderful time at this very beautiful establishment. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - pity it was only for one night though

Excellent small hotel for a short break in the Peak District. Ideal location for walking or visiting local area. Food - excellent. Good value, good choice and nicely presented Staff - friendly and welcoming and helpful Room - spacious and warm Bed -very comfortable

A great place to stay. The accommodation is top class, friendly staff/owners and really good food and drink at reasonable prices. A good base for both the Peak District and the Staffordshire Moorlands. Will return.

Lovely location in Hartington, wonderful staff - welcoming, efficient, professional, nothing too much trouble; owners around a lot; fantastic other guests, cosy room, great food, including Specials nights, lovely atmosphere in the hotel, good bar, nice, bright breakfast room. I stayed here with my two dogs, the hotel is lovely, room was immaculate. The food is first rate, the whole stay (only a short break) was superb. The staff, are delightful, really a pleasure. I will visit again,

I would call the Hotel directly to check. There were several items on the menu which were not available.
