The Country Motel in Ipswich was a pleasant surprise. We had some work to do so requested an early check-in. No problem. Owners were very friendly and communicative. We were assigned an upstairs room with no immediate neighbours - bonus! The room was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay - aircon, tea, coffee, milk, mini fridge, microwave, iron etc… The bathroom was a good size with the vanity area dividing the shower and toilet so both could be used at the same time with privacy. Beds were comfortable. The property also has a large pool area which was well utilised on this very hot weekend. There’s a restaurant onsite where e enjoyed a tasty breakfast, and a small suburban shopping centre immediately across the road containing another restaurant/takeaway, a bottle shop, a pizza place and a mini mart amongst other businesses. The Cunningham Highway is literally 2 minutes drive to the south with very easy access. We’ll stay again!

Good simple hotel providing value for money accommodation.
Parking right outside the unit door made loading luggage a doddle.
Room was large, clean and tidy with a big bed, sofa which could also be turned into a second bed, table and chairs with tv, fridge, microwave and toaster.
Bathroom had the usual toilet, sink and walk-in shower with towels changed every day except Sunday when there was no housekeeping.
The on-site Italian restaurant was also very good with an excellent selection of flavours.
Hotel also has a pool and on-site laundry.

Great location for our family visit, fantastic air-conditioned, appreciated the pool and BBQ area. However longer hours for these facilities would be better suited. No open windows in the kitchen and bathroom is not ideal for a family. Expensive for a 6 day stay and no housekeeping and limited cleaning items. However an extra charge if not left clean is written by the sink.

We stayed one night to attend a wedding and this motel ticked all the boxes. The room had a large bathroom and it even had a lounge and coffee table. It had a kitchenette which included plates, cutlery etc which motels often don't provide. The bed was very comfortable and the motel was quiet. I would recommend staying here.

The unit we had was so big and roomy with everything in it we needed including a kitchen and huge bathroom. Spotlessly clean and very quiet there. We could walk to the restaurant next door and cafe across the road. Comfy bed and pillows with crisp white linen and fluffy towels.

I stayed for a week in this motel. It is very quiet and clean. There is a restaurant across the parking lot where you can eat cooked food at a reasonable price. Across the road, there are some small stores where you can buy food and beverages.

I'd happy to rate this as the best motel in Ipswich. Immaculately clean. Very spacious, which is great as much husband is 6'3" and often finds hotel rooms, especially bathrooms, quite small. He was pleasantly surprised. It was nice and quiet too, no road traffic noise. Slept like a baby. Bed and pillows were really comfortable and so clean and fresh. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. I can't fault anything. Well done and thank you for your hospitality.

The motel is well maintained and the rooms spacious. Unfortunately our room was drenched with bleach or other cleaning product to mask some other smell. Joe from reception was vey helpful in trying to solve the problem but even after masking the bleach smell with another spray and airing the room the original smell returned during the night and appeared to be a strong septic smell. This of course completely ruined our stay. We left early the next morning and doubt whether we would stay again.

I recently stayed at this motel whilst visiting family in the area. A decent King size room ( no 23 ) with a small 2 seater couch and coffee table. Microwave and a 2 drawer unit with cutlery and plates etc in the first… Large bathroom with a seperate toilet. Great size vanity area to place all your bathroom ‘stuff’.. ….Undercover parking was a great plus... Also a restaurant next door which serve breakfast and dinner…In a pleasant area near parkland and mins from Ipswich Central…

We went to Ipswich for a 50th wedding anniversary and stayed at the Ipswich Country Motel. We were given a room right down the back of the very neat and tidy property with a view of fields behind us, and no traffic noise. The motel is a bit out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Ipswich but there is a convenient strip of shops across the road with an excellent baker, some takeaway places and a Foodstore. The beds in our room were very comfortable and we were advised they were new. Unfortunately because of the coronavirus threat, the restaurant was closed. But the room was very clean and a good size. The venue would be perfect for big functions once the world is back on its normal axis as it has 44 rooms and a big restaurant. I had been longing to try out the restaurant but the times wouldn't permit it, maybe next time all will be well.
