Detailed Reviews
The central location makes the hotel easy to find. The restaurant serves tasty meals. It is open for evening meals and breakfast meals only. Cooked breakfast finishes at 8.30 which indicates this place is not focussed on tourists. Indeed the majority of vehicles in the car park were Fluorescent marked work vehicles.
The rooms are tired and the grounds are nearly barren which is a pity because with a few plantings it could nearly live up to the prices being charged.
The hotel advertises a bar but it is very small and appears to be a waiting area for the restaurant. Also most bars are stocked with snacks such as nuts. Luckily I had some in the car.

Stayed here on the third night of our trip up north. The hotel standard fell well short of the price tag of $313 per night. Wifi was intermittent and television reception was poor. Bathroom and carpet was in need of repair and replacement. After complaining was complimented a cooked breakfast which went some way towards soothing our disappointment. Overall expensive for what was provided.

The location is superb (close to the main shopping area in town) and access and parking is easy for a traveller on the go. The place was quiet and I did have a good nights rest here. The room was quite basic and all a bit worn. Carpets and blinds were very tired and could do with replacing. The bed was average and room layout was a bit too compact. Wifi was unusable in the room with 1 bar of signal. I would stay here again however, as Newman is not a cheap place to stay and options are limited unless you are prepared to free camp out on the Highway. I’ve heard that they are slowly upgrading this hotel, so hopefully it will improve.

+1
I travel to Newman monthly for work and was trying out options.
The room had an awkward layout room with old mismatched damaged worn dated furniture - bed was too far from teh small wall mounted TV, there was a worn uncomfortable arm chair that was side facing to the TV & a sad desk in corner with no light or power point (so really you couldnt do any work here). There was no where to put luggage (bench/table etc).
The room was tired, musty, stale, worn out, room that needs a TOTAL overhaul! It felt air less despite an air cond in entrance area. Worn stained carpet throughout which made me cringe to walk on barefoot.
The QS bed on wheels that always moved. Uncomfortable bed that felt like it was 50yrs old and hard complete with terrible lumpy pillows
It had paper thin walls, no quiet or privacy, and makes for a 4am wakeup when everyone else gets ready for their 6am mine site shift start.
Only one bin in room located in bathroom, which had a stained, cracked tiles & countertop. Disgusting stained grey bath towels - made me cringe to use. Provided toiletries: 2 soap bars, shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was disgusting, stained bench top, cracked tiles and a short shower curtain that flooded the bathroom. Great water temperature and pressure but immovable shower head (not good for tall people). No exhaust fan in bathroom, adding to the musty air less room feel.
Fridge with the worst broken seal possible!?!
Old style room key needed to activate power to room, which prevents air circulation
No desire to stay here ever again or recommend it. Best thing was leaving & staying somewhere else for duration of my trip.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review and please accept our apologies for your recent experience. Seasons Hotel Newman was taken over by new owners late last year and we are continuously implementing improvements throughout the hotel. For example, we recently upgraded 50% of our rooms with brand new door locks that can be digitally accessed from a Smart Phone. We also have an extremely high standard of cleanliness and your review has been shared with the team for immediate improvements.

We stayed one night in a family room. Dinner in the restaurant was good - would recommend. Included continental breakfast was very basic (but we were warned the night before that no chef was available for the shift). Hotel room was basic but comfortable. In the middle of the night a clock radio alarm went off in the unoccupied room next door waking us. We rang the after hours number provided by the hotel (twice) but were told that it wasn't an emergency and we were hung up on. Two hours later, the alarm stopped itself. The attitude of the night manager was atrocious. On our return home I wrote to the hotel management and have had no response. Very disappointed by the level of guest hospitality. Would not recommend.

The check in was great and staff were friendly and helpful
The room was good at first glance however the bathroom, kitchen and kitchen bench was clean AFTER I cleaned it with a face washer because we had no dish cloth.
I also washed the cutlery that we used and dried them with another face washer because we had no t towel.
Only one remote for the 3 air cons worked.
All in all we expected more.

Out dated rooms. Not overly clean. No roof lights in bedrooms only lamps. Lounge air conditioning remote didn’t work. Coffee cups weren’t clean. Shower was dirty. Shower head half hanging out the wall. Shower in bath not very safe to get in and out of. Tap to bath continuously leaking. Water was either Luke warm or scolding hot. No outside lighting working at night for the 2 nights we stayed. They came on a midnight the last night shining straight it the main bedroom. Our room was out to the side of the hotel. Didn’t feel safe coming in at night. Certainly not worth the $900 I paid for 2 nights for 1 adult and 2 kids!

The couple of times I spoke to the owner he was quite arrogant. The whole place needs a face lift the air con could not cool down my room had to move my bed right underneath just to try get some sleep. Had water marks in the room and skirting falling off. Pool was dirty and could use some gardening.
Beds were brilliant and also the food was unreal and also the service in the restaurant was top notch

Check in easy. Should change hotel to motel but even motels I've stayed in are a better standard. Bathroom disgusting with red stained white bath, leaky taps. Furniture outdated, can hear coils when you roll over. Rooms can hear every noise. Pool is empty not like photo advertised. Grounds are untidy, grass over grown in areas, sprinkler heads broken and water puddles in different places. Food is gross, ordered ribs and got char grilled ribs with bbq sauce smothered over top. Chips are more roasted potato quarter's. Child menu ordered chicken tenders and chips, got compressed chicken, and roasted potatoes with a big salad that a small child wouldn't even eat. Will not stay there again.

First room we were entered, hot shower still on so humid and wet everywhere.
We are escorted to the room next door but hot water tap in the bathroom was running.
Lucky enough to get plumber in that night so it was ok.
No working exhaust in the bathroom so we couldn’t breathe at all!
On site restaurant looked inviting but service wasn’t there at all. Understanding the circumstances as Covid and trainee there but if I’m paying that money, not good enough at all with pricing structure at all. We gave $20 tip for staff member to educate others.
Never left bad reviews before myself and my partner, but needed to leave some comments here as we are paying $350+ to stay here.
We have our retail business last 20 years that’s why I did this
