The manager of this very small hotel in the main town is very nice and speaks good English. However, I must warmly warn other travellers... we paid to stay at a resort. An all inclusive 4 star resort.. we booked at the Playa Blanca and were called the night before and told of renovations! We can cancel, or we can...

Everything you need if you like no fuss, no muss travelling. Rooms and grounds are spotless. Juan is the head waiter, and he is the best I have had at a resort in a long time. He works very hard. Barbara in reception will take care of all you may need. All of the staff at this resort are very...

I stayed at Villa Marinera in January 2016. I had a very stay. My friend and I got one of the new suites. Very comfortable. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The two bar men were very curteous. I think was lacking was shuttles to Olé Playa Blanca - with whom Villa Marinera has the same administration. It would...

Previous reviews are pretty spot on. My favorite part of Villa Marinera is Juan. He is the restaurant manager at your service. Excellent coffee, excellent service and just an excellent man. It was wonderful to get to know him during our stay and can't wait to see him again. I will make sure that he is working if I schedule...

We stayed the 1st week of April 2016..we had an amazing time. As long as you are aware of what this place offers, you will have no complaints. Juan, you made our stay..working long days..and never a word of complaint, always looking out for the guests. Reception was also pleasant , though not always, sure she did her best. Chambermaids...

We spent a week at Villa Marinera from March 31 - April 7 of 2016. First time at this resort and in Cayo Largo, second trip to Cuba. I booked this trip after reviewing many, MANY locations in Cuba, and I wasn't disappointed. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place and Villa Marinera delivered. When we arrived from Toronto...

Small resort but comfortable and pleasant. Food and drinks are ok room first generation is big and nice view, but you hear your neighbors like you were there. Dive shop is in walking distance. Ability to go to the sister resort. Good for the price! Staff is good I would go back

Fabulous staff and a small-resort feel make this a rare alternative to the rest. Excellent free connections to world class beaches, scuba, fishing, and snorkelling. Most cabins were duplex, but a couple, like ours, were unbelievably great whole cabins. You will like this place if you prefer small and rustic, with the option of joining the fun at larger local...

We booked this resort because it looked small and I`m not going to lie the price was right. What we received was leaps and bounds more than we expected. When we arrived from the airport we were greeted by the always smiling Barbara, who is very knowledgeable and always helpful. While Barbara was hard at work checking everyone in, we...
