In general the hotel is OK, with rather fast WiFi. The lift in the 2nd building seems to be completely failing. The biggest negative feature is the breakfast that simply is bad. Particularly the sausage in plastic wrapping is pathetic

There was a problem during check in because of the reservation specialist did not specify the early check-in procedure in the hotel during booking when she got our arrival time to an airport, helped to book a taxi transfer and when we arrived to a hotel at 10:00, a sudden extra fee had arisen at a amount of 12,000 KZT...

I'll keep it short: Every room is a smoking room; our beds have box springs with pads instead of mattresses; and they didn't tell us about the 50% surcharge for a second person in a double room until we checked in. Unfortunately, we checked in too late to make other arrangements for the night, and they made us pay up...

Never before, in any country nor any other town in Kazakhstan, have we encountered a hotel where the price quoted for the double room (18,000) is in fact for one person to use a double bed. If there are two of you, there is an extra charge of 6,000, making the room very over-priced, at 24,000... for the privilege of...

The Nomad Hotel in Semipalatinsk is modern and clean. It is purportedly the best in the city but tourism to Semipalatinsk is not popular and I suspected I was the only occupant until someone else turned up for an uninspiring Russian style breakfast. However the receptionist was very helpful in finding out about buses to my next destination, but don't...

I stayed in that hotel for 5 days. The hotel was clean and comfortable. One of the most important things in November wneh its -15 C outside is that rooms were very warm, and i had to open window sometimes.Food was good enough. Breakfast is simple but tasty.
