The hotel is relaxed with a good spirit of everybody talking to everybody. Our room was clean and had good beds. Breakfast was nicely prepared by the friendly staff. The hotel offers free bicycles during your stay which took us to areas nearby showing the life of the local people away from other tourists. The hotel recommended good places to...

Really nice stay here. Very relaxing in Ben Tre and Oasis is on the other side of the river so out of town and relaxing. Hotel itself as others have said is showing some wear and tear but overall clean and comfortable. Really nice pool and outdoor area and all the staff where very friendly. Particular thanks to Hong who...

The Oasis is a gem of a hotel located on the edge of one of the rivers and is in a rural setting even though it is in the town. Hong though is the real gem-she virtually runs the hotel. And also takes guests out on wonderful tours. Her English is excellent and really goes the extra mile to make...

We stayed two nights but could of easily stayed a few more. Ben Tre a nice quiet location along the Mekong. Rooms are smallish but good. Great owners with nice pool, breakfast, receptionist, hammocks and bar. Bikes are well maintained but should be free since Many restaurants are a little ways away. But rental is reasonable. Great value for all...

We only stayed 2 nights but no complaints here renting bikes or mopeds is at a fair price from the hotel giving you some great ways to explore the breathtaking secenery, They had 2 English student there which were recommending good restraints and places to go on the bikes! We only stayed one night so with that in mind, and going for lodging in this price range...... Pluses - Hong (enjoyed our tour!), lounge/pool area is small but appealing, good restaurant and cafe within walking distance Minus - it's a little dated for decor and well worn mattress (3 star), and a bit of a walk from the centre,...

Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly hosts. Great tips on exploring the area. Great omelette for breakfast! Quiet surroundings that make relaxing easy. The overall feeling of the premises are, however, a bit worn and run-down and could be more clean.

This place is a bit off the beaten track and a little rough around the edges, but honestly it's a lovely place with a very kind staff. It's run by a very friendly Kiwi gentleman who's happy to talk about Ben Tre, and the Mekong area more generally. He'll also give you great food and activity recommendations. The rooms are...

My wife and I had a great visit here, and can confirm all the good things other reviewers have written. It was too bad for us that the weather wasn't quite warm enough for us to use their pool: otherwise we enjoyed everything the hotel had on offer for us, including the bicycles and a departing trip on the cargo...

Belated review of our stay at the oasis hotel in November 2016, great place to stay for our last few days in Vietnam. Ideal location to see some of the Mekong and its surprises and to have a relaxing time on the river, which was arranged by the lovely Hong who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and...
