We stayed two nights at the Oasis Hotel in Ben Tre. The hotel is nothing fancy, with the room being simply furnished and perhaps a little tired, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast is very good. Great omelettes. There are bicycles that you can borrow. They were probably the best quality bicycles that we had in Vietnam. We did the boat tour...

I don't travel nor stay at places this small and I realized that's a shame. It was an amazing experience. Ms. Loung and her husband Ken were warm and took great care of us. There small staff there were all amazing. In a very short stay, we packed in a full day motorbike tour, Mekong Delta tour, and met great...

Stayed here for only 2 nights, but all-in-all liked the place. Rooms are clean (lots of mosquitoes though) and they have a small pool as well. Staff was nice, but the woman who greeted us was unfortunately only helpful about their own tours. No additional info. Owner is very nice though. They rent bicycles for the hotel guests, and since...

Most hotels are really about the room and sleeping. At the Oasis the room is like the worst part of the overall experience (and the overall experience was good). It's a very dated room with threadbare towels but it was a good sized room and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was a nightmare but we found that bathrooms are...

Set amidst the quieter part of Ben Tre, Oasis stands true to its name. It is welcoming, quirky and charming. The owners, Ken and Lieu, are extremely friendly and they ensured we had a carefree stay. From bus tickets to torches to mosquito repellents to bicycles, they helped us on every count. And, Ken does have some top bicycles on...

Great homey feel to this hotel. Nice and quiet and haven't slept that hard in a few weeks of traveling. Ken and his wife Lieu are great hosts. Hong has great knowledge of the area and is very informative. Thuy serves up a great NZ breakfast complete with delicious fruit. Wanted to go for a swim in the hotel pool...

Hi Peter and the family, the boat trip to Tra Vinh, i hoped you all enjoyed the ride, i'm sure the two kids did, coconuts everywhere, the only way to see the mekong is by boat, and you did it, and thanks for the good words about me and the wife, you are a good family, have a safe return...

We stumbled in during the middle of a torrential downpour and were greeted with the biggest smiles and we've seen yet in Vietnam - a welcome relief from a soaked day of travel. The location is great - across the river from town- and provides a very relaxed and mellow atmosphere. There are bikes to borrow and a huge map...

We were planning to stay 2 nights here, we ended up staying 3. It's a great place to chill in hammock and with a cold beer. The staff is helpful, breakfast very good. I definitely recommend to stay here. You get many good tips where to eat and what to do. 3D Coffee is a must. We went to Tra...

We decided to spend two days in this hotel. After reading recommendations on TripAdvisor we decided not to trust the bad ones (as the owner say he doesn't know the guests etc..) and just try it as we wanted to have the pool and visit Ben Tre area. Haha however we should trust those bad ones...... Why I say its too...

forgetting the first comments, but i need to explain the credit car acceptance, we accept you can pay the accommodation by credit card, but for everything else its difficult. Example you get a taxi from Ho Chi Minh city to the hotel do a tour and return to Ho Chi Minh, cost 150$, and you pay by credit card, we...

The hotel is OK. Pretty used, but clean. And a bit pricier in Vietnam (we can tell after 3 weeks travelling in South and North Vietnam). But the hotel has so good services! All there speak english. Staff is friendly and helpfull. They tell you everything about the town. As other visitors we also have to tell about Hong. She...

Marie Hi thanks for the good words, its very difficult to keep everyone happy, everyone is different , so we just try our best, i personally like Mai Van restaurant as you do, we had one guest that didn't like Mai Van restaurant, why, because the chicken had bones in it, so you see its difficult sometimes, true story.
