Book early to ensure an amazing experience here, everything is about you, accomodation with tropical outdoor showers, architecturally designed bures with stunning interiors & high end facilities, day beds on undercover verandah to lounge after your adventurous day or a dip in the resorts gorgeous super clean & well maintained pool, there’s also an award winning Thai restaurant on site that will not disappoint, it was exceptional Reception is onsite & offers a warm welcome plus a huge range of unique cultural options to Arnhem Land, that you are unable to do independently , with tour pick ups at reception Safely passing into Arnhem Land in a large 4wd via CAHILL’S Crossing, easily & safely, we saw at least 10 x 4m crocs an the rising tide. There is a large viewing platform for safety This is also the home to completely separate en-suited caravan sites as well as tenting options, it’s in the heart of Kakadu village but you must book ahead or you’ll miss out it’s very popular for good reason, everything runs like clockwork The newest & best accomodation, locally owned & managed with a strong cultural experience thats guaranteed in this remote area of Australia 🇦🇺

I came with my daughters for a girls get away. They wanted to travel cheap, so we booked the bungalow with no air con!! When we arrived at around 3pm it was sweltering in the bungalow and we wondered if we could do it! But after lots of swimming and relaxing we slept really well with just the fan on. We even got a bit cold during the night (even though the temperature never went below 25). We loved the openness of the huts, waking up with the shadows on the roof. Woke up from other peoples alarms sometimes but that was ok. I would love to do it again in the cooler season! The outdoor bathroom and cooking facilities worked perfectly too. And the Thai food was exceptional.

HOT and humid days exploring Kakadu means a clean, comfortable and COOL base is a must. Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bed cabin which has 3 rooms (bed 1, bed 2, and kitchen/diner/tv/couch). All rooms with ceiling fans and bedrooms have really efficient and cooling air-con, a must after a big day out. Parking right out front of the cabin. Front verandah has table/chairs and is undercover. Out the back door you take 8 paces and you’re at your lockable private ensuite (toilet, vanity shower). Looks like cabins have been added to the site that may have once been caravan sites, hence the separate ensuite. Nice to hear a rain shower on the tin roof overnight. Kitchen has all the gear you need. We got late lunch at the restaurant and took it back to our cabin. Pics on their website pretty accurate. Staff very welcoming and helpful despite being a busy time. Really enjoyed the break. Will definitely be back.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom self contained cabin. Tiny lounge with crappy 2 seater couch. Kitchenette (2 pot electrics stove, microwave, fridge/freezer + sink) allowed us to prepare basic meals. Mattresses you can feel every spring in but TBH at the end of a long HOT day, we slept like logs and barely noticed. Bathroom is in a seperate building the rear of the cabin, small but functional and clean. But there are good things - the A/C in the cabin works well and there are ceiling fans in every room (38c everyday during our stay), pool and proximity to Kakadu’s major sites. The on-site Thai restaurant is also a pleasant spot for a meal our with pretty decent fare.

Nice comfortable spacious bungalow in a garden setting. Thai restaurant on-site was quite good. Pool was a little small with almost half of the pool strangely very shallow, perhaps intended for children paddling, so fine for a quick plunge to cool down but not much more. Bungalows have a designated but separate shower toilet block outside the bungalow. The kitchenette was quite well stocked with plates pots glasses salad bowl etc. If you prefer total darkness to sleep then bring a sleep mask as a part of the bedroom windows are frosted glass with no curtains so if your neighbours leave on outside lights then you have light filtering in from outside all night. The package including accommodation, Arnhemlander tour and East Alligator River cruise is highly recommended - the tours are a must-do
