Thanks for the great review. It is wonderful helping people to explore this region. I often ask. "How was your day?" After people return from the National Parks in this region and always the answer is the same. "Just fantastic!" That makes me smile. Regards Claire

This was the last stop on our vacation to New Zealand. It was absolutely perfect. Beach and ocean on one side of our room, quiet pond on the other. Cool ocean breeze on one side. Warm sun on the other. Sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. Claire was a fantastic hostess. She made us a wonderful salmon dinner...

Spent two nights here and only wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts are absolutely delightful and made us feel very much at home within moments of arriving. Anything you could possibly want or need in the suites is catered to. The property features architecturally stunning buildings (a main house, and the 3 guest houses) set between the ocean...

We are thrilled to read your review, thank you so much. We like very much your comment..."this is why we came to New Zealand" Our beachfront location is unique and within 2 minutes walk, down our pathway, all guests can experience that stroll along a coastline, so common in New Zealand. The privacy of our guests was to the fore...

Perfect for some quiet time with beautiful views, with the ocean just outside your door. We had three nights here, which gave us time to explore Nelson, wineries, Abel Tasman, and still relax. Just 10 minute drive to some great restaurants yet you feel like you escaped everything! The hosts are so kind and helpful, with great recommendations for food...

We stayed at The Waters while visiting New Zealand on our Honeymoon in November. The setting of The Waters is stunning and the rooms are designed to really take advantage of the views. Claire is a wonderful host. I'd highly recommend if spending anytime near Abel Tasman.

The Waters sits on a stunning bluff overlooking the water. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, airy, and have big sliding doors on both sides to take in the views of water front and back. We were greeted by our host Clare and her adorable dog Zeta. Clare was extremely helpful with reservations and suggestions for the area. On our last...

What an amazing hotel! We felt so lucky to be at the Waters with an extraordinarily thoughtful host. The suite was beautifully appointed, with a lovely bathroom, sitting room (which faces the ocean), and a terrific bed! Our host Claire prepared a great seafood dinner on our last night at the Waters. We sat on the terrace overlooking the ocean....

We were guest for two nights at this magnificently run property. Claire and Phil are the hard working hosts who will ensure that your stay here is relaxing and enjoyable. There are many good restaurants in the area, but make sure that you reserve at least one in-room three course dinner prepared by Claire. Fantastic!

One of the most amazing experience, the best place to celebrate a very romantic anniversary. The hosts Claire and Phil were so attentive and helped to make our stay so memorable, thank you again. Easy access to Abel Tasman, Nelson; the studio are very modern, over looking the sea. Great breakfast over looking the sea, just a magic place
