We had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights and it felt like we had been away for a week. Wonderful location, exceptional hosts and the Lodge was modern stylish and beautifully clean. So centrally located to great attractions it is an ideal place to stay when in the Tasman area.

My husband and I went to Edens Edge Lodge in Motueka in March 2017 and it was a very good experience. The lodge is located in a rural area but close enough to every attraction around. Staying at this lodge was a really local experience. The owners Chris and Liz are very nice people, always willing to help and provide...

Chris and Liz are amazing hosts of the lodge, we only had one night booked and booked a second night because we enjoyed it so much. They are fantastic sources of information if you want to know anything about the area or most of the north part of the South Island for that matter. I hear they are selling the...

Thanks for your comments Liz. We have not sold Eden's Edge yet and may be here for next season. Because we are in such a lovely location with great facilities any new owner should have no trouble keeping the lodge up to its high standard. We will tell any new owner of the importance we place on helping guests with...

We visiting Eden house as part of a three week trip to New Zealand. It was probably the best place we have ever stayed...from the hospitality of the owners to the staff I cannot say enough. In particular the food was unbelievable. Bobbie would go into town each day for fresh produce and it was prepared along with a main...

There has been a mistake here. We are Eden's Edge Lodge, not Eden House and we do not prepare food as Fidel says. We have a nice modern guest kitchen where they prepare their own food. Guests do prepare some fantastic meals, perhaps that is what Fidel is referring to.

Amazing peaceful stay at Edens Edge, our favourite hotel in New Zealand, wish we could have stayed longer. Liz was so helpful and booked us onto the boat taxi which she had recommended and was fantastic. Location is outside Motueka super peaceful and great for getting to Abel Tasman. The setting and garden was beautiful, like a little retreat. Amazing...

We stayed here for two nights. All rooms are very clean, very nice furnished and decorated with nice artistic staff. The kitchen is big enough and good equipped. Next to dining space comfortable sitting-room with lot of board games. Very welcome hosts. The washer dryer could be better (we expected to get out drier clothes).

Thank you for some good feedback. For tourists wanting to enjoy this area we are positioned right on the Great Taste Bike Trail and within easy reach of the two national parks in our area and Golden Bay. Tour providers pick people up from here too - usually free of charge. Our dryer is a Maytag, so it is a...

This place looks new but has been 8 years in the making according to our hosts. Great communal kitchen and very clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend and would stay again. At $92 a night it was excellent value and a great location for access to Motueka or our to Marahau and the Abel Tasman.

Thanks Shane. Yes we do offer a real NZ experience in accommodation being out in the country with sheep grazing and views out to hills and mountains. Our buildings are designed to have to traditional farm building look that is common in NZ.

We camped in the grounds of this lovely place. There was a good area to pitch tents under the cover of trees for shade in the summer. Great facilities/kitchen etc. You can cook yourself a nice meal and eat on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous natural surroundings.

Thanks Natalie. Your response reflects what many of our guests say to us on checking out. This year we are improving the entrance driveway, upgrading the bedding in our rooms, improving the guest lounge, doing some more garden landscaping (the soil arrived today) and doing a lot of work on our four share rooms to make them almost as nice...

We chose this as it was on the BBH listings. The location was very serene, relaxing and tranquil. The place is reasonably new and we had a private ensuite room that was delightfully presented. Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review; life is busy! We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Perhaps the male owner was not quite as smiley as normal because his wife had asked him about that time for help with her chickens - not his favourite birds, because when they escape they do scratch up...
