Two nights stay in the Lilac room. (ensuite) Front of guest house. View towards the coast. No noise from howling wind as double glazed. What a treat Lovely clean room, nice and warm when returning from a cold day out. Thick lush towels provided. Toiletries supplied enough for our visit and hairdryer always a plus not having to pack one....

We came to visit family in Mablethorpe prior to Christmas and had an excellent stay. I expected after looking at accommodation for the night they would be much the same so didn't give it too much thought and booked the room. What a lovely surprise, well located with lovely views around. The hosts took care of things well, almost invisibly....

Stayed for three nights from 6th Jan. Fred and Jean are lovely hosts. Both are ex-cabin crew on passenger planes, therefore well practiced with their social skills. We booked the disabled friendly room which is on the ground floor due to my heart failure, however the room didn't work very well, due to the fact that it was impossible for...

Quick weekend visit to Mabletherpe. The hotel is close to the beach (50 yards away) which, incidentally, seems to go on forever, 16 miles long I am told! The hotel gardens overlook the boating pond. I had a cold beer watching the owner feed the geese! Mini golf and a fair ground are also close by. The hosts are excellent,...

My husband booked my sister and I into the Colours Guest House,on a late break. To be honest I was a little apprehensive during our journey because my husband had said that the shower and toilet room was opposite the bedroom but only we had a key to use it . How wrong was I ? the new owners Jean and...

This was our second visit to Colours Guest House and with the change of owners we were unsure whether the standards previously maintained would still be the same. However, our concerns were immediately forgotten on arrival when we were greeted by the new hosts Fred and Jean. A delightful couple who looked after us extremely well throughout our one week...

Jean and Fred were really helpful when we had a few odd questions and were very happy to help. Breakfast was top rate and always happy to accommodate and offering more of everything. Friendly hosts, very clean rooms and always up for a chat! Stayed in Brown room and had everything we wanted and slept soundly. Very quiet location and...

Me and my Mum stayed here for 2 nights in July. I think we were the first guests under new owner ship as they were moving in that weekend! Had a brill stay and the new owners could not have been better (even though it must have been a stressfull time) Breakfast was really nice, all the extras and the...
