Excellent friendly service, seven of arrived at a busy lunchtime without a booking, seated quickly with menus and jugs of water, orders taken speedily, surprisingly good food for the price. Only complaint is portion size which was huge.

This hotel is everything you want. Two restaurants and bar menu. The food is out of this world and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The bedroom was huge and so was the bed. Go for the Irish breakfast absolutely gorgeous and very filling. Choose this hotel and you won't be disappointed.

This is a difficult review to write as the location service and restaurant was excellent clean and very pleasant. I had a problem with my food but it was resolved quickly and in a very professional way. The only concern I have is that the fillet steak wasn't actually fillet my family have been butchers for many generations and having...

My husband and I had a fantastic night away at the whistledown . Staff were very friendly and helpful, food in the bistro was excellent both on the sat evening and Sunday lunch, especially the deserts. Lovely bar overlooking the sea and weather was good enough to enjoy the outside area which was lovely. Bedroom was very nice, clean and...

Stayed for one night and would recommend it highly in terms of cleanliness, friendliness of staff and quality of breakfast. I had the fry and my wife had the omelette and we both had the pleasure of the tranquil bay view. The room although one of the smaller ones going by the fire escape plan was more than adequate and...

I went to the whistledown for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Fantastic surroundings, good service and delicious food. Always guaranteed a quality meal here with a good variety on the menu. There is an extensive selection of drinks on the menu also. The prices are reasonable and again service is excellent

The function room looked superb, the food was fantastic, the service the whole day through could...

Stayed one night of a five night tour of Scotland and Ireland. Rooms were stylish very comfy. Curtains didn't close properly as the eyelets were too big for the rail. Ate in the resturant . Food was amazing. Tasted fresh very well presented. Desserts were to die for. They cater for gluten free no problem. The waitress service was first...

Very unimpressed with this and the way in which...
