Beautiful food with efficient service, we got the mixed platter for starter which was yummy and just enough before our steaks came! Steaks cooked to perfection and all sides (chips, garlic potatoes & onion rings) were perfect. A beautiful meal in a beautiful location.

In actual fact they went out and bought a locker for bathroom( which I did not know was new until we checked out). This in our opinion was excellent...

The Whistledown is a nice hotel with a very nice staff. The reception attendant, bartender and the breakfast waitress score high for being authentic, real and helpful. The hotel, itself is a little quirky but nice. The rooms are large and clean. The street noise can be annoying but dies off early.

We attended a wedding last Thursday. The hotel could not have done any more for us .We where there early and got a car space at the door which was handy as parking is scarce. We had the bar reserved for the guests and we had the wedding in the hotel. The meal was out of this world. We where...
