Stayed here with a group of eight (very respectable) motorcyclists on a tour of Wales (I know it's not quite in Wales!). We arrived late after a long day's riding & found very convenient parking at the rear for our bikes. We were in a great rush to get to our pre-booked table at The Boars Head, across the road,...

This is a small guesthouse run by a lovely couple, Rosie and Norm and they could not have been friendlier. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Room was cosy and had everything we needed. It was clean, had a couple of easy chairs, a shower room and the bed was comfortable....

First holiday in area. Good location as all amenities within few minutes walk. Warm, friendly welcome, helpful too. Gave us lots of extra information and leaflets on area. Good base to explore local and surrounding areas. Guesthouse is building full of character, oak beams etc. Great food, great rooms. Would visit again.

Very nice room, clean and well furnished. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. Full English included Welsh Dragon sausages from the local butcher, with more than a hint of chilli, delicious though not to everybody's taste, and home-made bread and marmalade. Reasonable value for high quality accommodation.

2 friends walking Offas Dyke stayed in the two attic rooms here for 2 nights, one vegetarian and the other omnivorous. The rooms are clean spacious and beds comfortable. The shower had good power and there was plenty of tea coffee and milk in the room. The real bonus for us was that given the short days we wanted to...
