Stayed with my family a couple of years ago. Love the property and its suroundings. Guanica is beautiful and close to other spots like Ponce or Cabo Rojo. As with other small, moderately priced hotels in the island, the rooms are simple and with limited amenities. But they're clean, bright and we all got a good night sleep.

I was supposed to stay in my grandmother's empty house in the deep mountains but tarantula infestation. This was the least expensive hotel I could find last minute. Friendly staff. Did not get all inclusive so the meals were pricey. But the inclusive meals seemed like cheaper food. They are environmentally run, which was a plus. And next door to...

It is a nice place to go and have a nice quality time with the family. But the food wasn't very good, and it didn't have a variety of side dishes and what about everything else having a charge? Like if I want cheese with my eggs it had a charge, really??

Within driving distance to the town of Guanica and the famous beach Playa Santa. Close to the hotel there is also a winery with great atmosphere, the only problem I encountered was that although it is within walking distance I had to drive since there is no walkway connecting the hotel to the winery. You can walk but I did...

It was an excellent stay!!! The hotel isn't that big, but it gives a cozy feeling. It is a very quiet and relaxing stay. If your looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape this place is wonderful. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent, fresh and well served. Cant wait to go back.

This isn't one of your glitzy palaces for luxury and excitement; it's a beautiful, quiet retreat evoking a quieter time. Ensconced in the shade of beautiful trees, the beautifully maintained parador is a place for relaxation, whether for a lazy day or after a day exploring the many attractions of the region. We had one of their smallest rooms, but...

Very friendly staff. Room are a little small but super clean. Food is decent and comes out quite fast being familiar with "island time". Only downside I saw was no alcohol which I did not know about ahead of time.... But over all good for the price and close to ponce (25 min drive)

The architecture is absolutely gorgeous . What I liked the most was the wrap around balcony. Breakfast was great and budget friendly. Pool is very nice. The rooms on the upper floors in back of the parador has the best view. The parador is within short driving distance of beautiful beaches.

After making a reservation at the Parador 1929 I contracted the chikungunya virus and was unable to make it. I called the Parador to notify them of the unexpected and out of my control health situation and was told I was still going to get charged because an unfair absolutely no cancellation policy. Treating clients this way is not in...
