We have visited the Godolphin Arms many times over the years for dinner and drinks whilst on holiday, but this was our first stay. We booked a family room for 3 nights and what can I say, it certainly lived up to expectations. The room was clean and fabulously appointed, with crisp clean linen, coffee machine, Sky TV and not...

Our Pearl Wedding Anniversary will never be forgotten all thanks to the staff of the Godolphin Hotel. We have had a two night stay in Marazion at the hotel to celebrate thirty years together, and we enjoyed every minute because all the staff made us feel so very special. Before I heap further adulation on everyone, let me cover the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid August! The setting is wonderful - with views across the beach to St Michaels Mount. Room was lovely - beautifully appointed in modern seaside style - obviously recently refurbished. in fact the whole hotel has recently undergone a huge re vamp. Upstairs the dining room had taken over the whole of 2...

My wife checked in before me and I was met with a ‘Wow’ she was very impressed. We stayed for two nights in early August 2015. Breakfast menu is imaginative and we both enjoyed it. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. A what a great view from the restaurant window. A very pleasant stay...

Recently stayed at this B&B/hotel for three nights. it was absolutely lovely. The rooms are spacious and have a nautical feel to them. We had a beautiful outlook to St Michael's Mount, with a couple of chairs in the window so that we could enjoy the afternoon sun. The only downside to the room was that it was situated below...

We spent three lovely days in Cornwall staying at this Hotel. The rooms were very modern and very nice. Our stay included breakfast in the price. A great location to tour Cornwall from. The staff were very friendly. The Hotel is situated along the causeway that leads to the castle on nearby Island.

We were visiting the Isles of Scilly and stayed here on the way there and on the way back. On the way there we had a small room over looking the town, it was clean and very modern and the bed with comfortable. We have a 2 year old daughter and they put a Z-Bed up for her. The bathroom...

With a refurb that takes this iconic building into the modern world the new windows are a stroke of genius as it allows the whole restaurant to enjoy the wonderful view of the Mount. It is no longer the exclusive pleasure of those who arrive first or book the treasured window seats. This means the room is light and cheerful....

Just returned from a family weekend (Rm 6) at Marazion's Godolphin Arms, which is an, 11 roomed, hotel with parking. It is right on the sheltered Marazion beach opposite St. Michael's Mount (National Trust - check opening times, closed Saturdays). The hotel offers an excellent restaurant; we had a great family meal (super shared seafood board with bread, kids chicken...

My wife & I (plus dog) continued our tour of the South West with a two night stay in a room overlooking St Michael's Mount. The location is hard to beat, Marazion itself is a nice village with plenty going on and the view over Mount's bay are stunning. Since our last visit what was a good seaside pub has...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
