The Beach Bar & B&B are in a fabulous location right on the beach. Great place for a drink outside on a sunny evening. The bar is quaint. Food in the restaurant is average and edible. Service is a bit haphazard. The B&B is well run and clean and the breakfast is good quality and obviously cooked to order. Room... More

This place is an amazing place, and I almost hesitated to write a review as I egoistically felt it should be kept secret! The price is the price of a hostel but the quality is much better than any hostel we have ever been to. The view from the hotel is just amazing. Directly on the beach, with views on... More

Location was fantastic! Martina and Karen were wonderful! We really felt welcomed at the B&B. Room was perfect! ) and the pub stops serving dinner at 8. The staff gladly seated us and took our order, thankfully!! Very good food and entertainment (young man playing the guitar)

The dead-end road leads to a pub, B&B, and a small camping site which are run together. The place is quite and you feel isolated. Access is difficult (or impossible) without a car. We really enjoyed the site, the drinks and the food.

The Surf school was excellent and Andy the instructor was very patient. It's a great way to try something different. Thanks to Martina and all the staff. Will definitely be going... More

Aughris House provided a very clean room with comfortable beds and good facilities on the coast in County Sligo. The breakfast was very good and Martina went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and provided a great vegetarian meal for our daughter.

When we arrived I was blown away by the area and its beauty you cant deny that. We were lucky enough to get a room at the front of the b & b where this could be seen out the window. We then went on to the bar to get dinner before we shut down for the night. The other... More

We stayed for two nights in the delightful Beach Bar with its amazing views and were bowled over by the warm and friendly reception we received. The breakfast was a particular treat - lovely fresh soda bread, carefully cooked Irish breakfast, plenty of opportunities to customise to suit preference. There is also an area to make tea and coffee which... More

Fantastic location - with stunning views of the ocean & across the bay. The Beach Bar is a lovely little pub with a mix of locals & visitors. Have been there many times over 25 years & it's charm is constant (albeit time to improve the restrooms) Have also stayed at the B&B a few times. The noise levels are... More
