“La Fenice” lies at an elevation of 300 meters in the exquisite Valle di Chio. Together with the Valle di Chiana it frames Castiglion Fiorentino, a typical Tuscan hill town rich in narrow streets and surprising architecture. The house is surrounded by olive-trees and cypresses, which are part of a large expanse of woods covering our incline. The area allows for charming excursions on foot or on bicycle. “La Fenice” is both spacious and accommodating.

Detailed Reviews
We spent a week in this Agriturismo and I can say it was the perfect experience! It's like sleeping in a mansion of the 1500's, the atmosphere of this place can't be explained, you need to come to live the magic!
The breakfast is delicious, professionally served by the pool, surrounded by a huge open garden with a magnificent landscape!Comfortable bedrooms and a helpful hostess.
I highly recommend this place to all of you who like to experience the culture and tradition of the country you visit.

we had 3 very nice days at la Fenice
The room was nice. It has a private bathroom, but not en suite, you have to cross the coridor
Location is beautiful, and you can spend a quiet day in the garden reading and swimming
The town of Castiglion Fiorentino is about 5 km from la Fenice and merits a visit
La Fenice is a bit hard to find on the satnav, use" location Santa Christina"as street adres and then watch for the sign Tarangnano.
The landlady is kind and helpfull, but stays at the background.

We visited La Fenice in August 2019, together with our dog. We would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a calm and quiet vacation with great possibilities and a beautiful landscape for hiking and running.
The house is located 5 km from the nearest village so it might be a good idea to bring the car.
Linda, who owns the B&B,is very friendly and kind which adds to the stay! Breakfast w

We have been guests of La Fenice for a week, enough for us as very stressed and restless couple to completely unwind, sitting at the fantastic pool overlooking the Tuscan hills. In the evening you hear no noises, except the sounds of the wild boar, nearby in the bushes. The owner of La Felice, Linda, takes very good care of her guests in a sophisticated, calm way. She provides a very nice breakfast, but also buys rice for those unfortunate ones who have dropped mobile phones in the pool. La Felice is the perfect place for visiting the beautiful towns in the hills, escaping from the heat and the crowds once you have had enough of art and fellow tourists.

We stayed here for two nights and received a very warm welcome! The rooms are nice, although they only have double beds. Breakfast was good and our special requests were met. Fantastic views from the well maintained garden, where you could sit back and relax.
There is also a good restaurant close by, 5 minutes by car.
Linda, the owner, does everything she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible!
