Fantastic food, outstanding service and genuine swedish mountain lodge feel. We ate here with little kids and friends as a total party of 9. The personell was so outgoing and friendly. Maybe a good tip would be to offer kids paper and crayons but other than we Absolutely recommended it!!!

Recommended by our Swedish friends, and the dinner was perfect. Fine and excellent dining of different venison meals. I am hunter myself and very critical eating game in restaurants, but everything was delicious and of high quality, even the kid's menu.

Stayed here for two night mid March, lots of snow and cold nights (-13C) but lovely days with sunshine. The hotel consists of several buildings, the reception and lounge in the main building are very cozy, with an open fire adding to the ambiance. My room was spacious, with small sofa and comfortable double-bed. Quite small shower-room though. Very good...

We stayed in this cozy friendly place for a 3 nights stay recently. They are a sister hotel to the large Högfjällshotellet which is more of a party place. 500 m between them you can still use the facilities at the large complex as sauna, pool meet restaurants etc. The rooms are middle size and cozy. Breakfast is excellent (if...

Absolut great nature in the Highlands of Dalarna, in summertime you can take a mountain tour on the green mountain and from oktober you can ski flat or downhill. We can´nt not enough recommend this hotel, the rooms, the FOOD! and the...

Wow, is the first thing that comes to my mind. The old building is just fantastic! The bedrooms are my style and I can't wait to get back.

The hotel is full of character with a very comfortable lounge, superb restaurant (not cheap!), comfortable rooms (although they suffer from the small sink problem which afflicts a lot of Scandinavian hotels). It's just a short drive from the ski resorts although the bus stops near by and I think you can walk to one of the resorts. Did I...
