Intimate location and fantastic view. Jimmy and Nenita look after their guests like they are family. Snorkeling by the near destinations is most excellent. Don't know about the other accomdation but staying above the restaurant was a treat.

The hotel is absolutely different what I ever stayed before! No glass windows! You fill yourself like in Eden garden, but with civilization:). The staff is friendly and helpful, everything is organized very well- breakfast, dinner, take away lunch, transfer, swimming pool area, restaurant and bar. And amazing view every moment of the day! Thank you, Al Faro, for unforgettable...

Our charming room was very clean and simple, but nicely decorated. The fan above the bed kept the room cool enough at night even without air conditioning. We loved our quiet, little patio which faced east, so we had beautiful sunrise views over the bay. Hot water was not always available for showers. The toilet, sink and shower area were...

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was already impressed at how beautiful and charming this hotel was! The hotel's design and structures were fascinating. It has both a Mediterranean and Filipino feel to the place which was unique among most of the hotels in the Philippines or the hotels I've stayed at. The service throughout our stay was splendid. The...

Stayed for a long weekend - ideal place to zone out from city life. Captivating room architecture; always tidy and clean, bed with mosquito net. Note no hot shower lovers - water is lukewarm (which I personally did not mind at all). Staff and owners are always present and ready to assist with anything you request. Place offers 1/2 and...

If you need to unwind and be one with nature you can't beat Al Faro. The staff take a genuine interest in your well being. The Swiss orientated kitchen prepares fresh food to order and it arrives hot and tastes delicious. The barbecu'ed fish and chicken provided on the Banca trips with the fresh mangoes and bananas washed down with...

My boyfriend and I stayed in Al Faro within the first week of our 1 month trip in the Philippines. We are now at the end of our trip and can safely say that this was the best hotel we stayed in. We had a bungalow room which was full of light and reminded us of Santorini, Greece. The food...

It doesn't get much better than this. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Unbeatable view. Very reasonable rates. Fantastic fresh, made-to-order food with large portions. Comfortable and unique rooms. Secluded location yet close to diving and lovely islands. Only thing to note - if you're looking for incredibly strong WiFi, you shouldn't have come to such a secluded and beautiful place.

We visited for 11 days with our 3 young children and are heading back soon. A beautiful location and wonderful staff (led by Nenita). We stayed in the lighthouse room which offered amazing views and sunsets. The rooms are basic by 'hotel' standards (fan, mosquito nets etc) but in keeping with the whole resort. This is a perfect place for...
