To start it all off. My bed went through the floor. Litteraly one of the legs went through the wooden floor so my whole bed was tipped. The lodge is placed on bamboo pillars in the water so i did not feel like sleeping in the water. However they did manage to fix this gigantic hole by putting a piece...

Dirty, smelly and an army of cockroaches! We did not sleep at all because of the smell oft fecals and the fight against the cockroaches... The sheets were dirty and the shower die not work. It could be a very nice place, but AG the moment it's not...

I was staying here for a few days and totally enjoyed my stay. The owners and their staff were really helpful and always around and open for questions. The rooms are quiet and made of bamboo. There is a little kitchen for cooking and you can have some breakfast in the morning. There are some hammocks where you can realx...

First, the good things: Location in Coron town, good. Wifi, very good (very poor wiifi in 99% of Coron). Common areas, very good (the sea surrounding the lodge, a pair of hammocks, plenty of tables, chairs and space to seat, read, etc). Good vibe. Now, the bad ones: The individual room I had (I can't speak about the others, honestly):...

10 minutes after arrival, a staff member came to the room asking for immediate payment. I asked if she would wait until my friend was out of the shower and she said she would wait in the room with me. I asked her not to. I then had a shower ten minutes later and again she came in and demanded...

Definitely NOT for the high-maintenance traveler. No aircon and all that jazz. Other than the obvious lack of amenities, for the price it is the best stay. If you can do without all that stuff, then you will love it here. This place had the best atmosphere of any hotel or resort or hostel or motel or lodge or whatever...

Quiet, cheap, and great. Krystal made us family style dinner a few times, we just went to get the food and beer, and voila, 8-12 strangers are having a family meal and it is fantastic. Only a few bucks per person to feed and drink us all, and she is a great cook. Keep your receipts though bc she can...

The place was nice and peaceful. Still recovering from Typhoon Haiyan. A stonesthrow away from the busy tricycle traffic and you have the seas as your view and under your room as well. The communal room have even better views. Speaking to Krystal and she tells me of their plan to rebuild the cottages that were destroyed to plant mangrove...

I've given crystal lodge a five for character and charm. We felt very at home there. Although, it is a little dated here and there, but our Host Wang was incredible by helping us to get around. She took care of all our needs. We arrived drown in sea water as our boat trip from El Nido wasn't the most...

Stayed for a couple of nights on my Coron visit after a couple of days of diving. The property was damaged by Typhoon, but managed to rebuild. The location is great because its in the center town where you walk everywhere very touristic. It is also surrounded by local restaurants. Wifi is ok although didn't use much. Our stay came...
