Now it was a few years since I stayed here. But at the time I enjoyed my stay and have nothing bad to say about the place. Very basic, but staff was friendly and I got some good sleep. A great place to sleep if you're on your way to Siem Reap but arrive after the border already has closed.

I've stayed here a couple of times and it's just fine for a night -- clean, reasonably comfortable, good value. Probably the most relaxed way to get from Bangkok to Siem Reap or Battambang is to take the early afternoon 3rd class train to Aranyaprathet, spend the night, and make a fairly early crossing of the border, before the hordes...

We stayed with our son in their three bedded air con room overnight after arriving by the evening train from BKK and waiting for the border crossing to Cambodia next morning. Very clean and all basic facilties were available ( no wifi). Knowledge of English in the reception was poor. But the young lady was very helpful. They have nice...

Sheets with a higher thread count than you’d expect, pillows unfortunately harder than you’d want…all in a spotlessly clean room in Aranyaprathet, the Thai town on the Cambodian border. Aranyaprathet doesn’t attract many overnight visitors, but this location worked well as we knew we could not leave Bangkok until early evening and staying at Aran Gardens 2 allowed an early...
