Great room and facilities. Amazing meal only beaten by the most friendly and relaxed staff ever. Took time to listen whilst still providing quick efficient service. Will definitely be back. Breakfast provided was both varied and plentiful. We were made to feel very welcome.

We went for Sunday lunch and were initially disappointed that they did not do a Sunday roast. However, I had seen the steak pie recommended and I chose this, it was lovely, lots of beautiful pastry, in a box shape, with tasty meat and sauce / gravy inside. We were seated overlooking the lovely gardens going down to the river,... More

Went for dinner at the weekend, had turned up without booking and they were more than happy to accommodate us (party of 5). Service was quick and the waiter called Bruno was very helpful and polite. Food was just as good, all the plates were cleared. I had the smoked salmon and prawn to start which was really good, followed... More

Stopped here for coffee and cake after walking in nearby Glenshee. Warm and welcoming bar with comfy sofas. Carrot cake was to die for 😁. Pleasant, friendly bar man who was very attentive. Could have stayed longer but we still had to drive home. Will be back.

This hotel is ideally located for anyone wishing to have a restful break or enjoy the beautiful countryside which is just a few steps away. The food was of a high quality, the staff helpful and friendly and the bedrooms and public areas clean and comfortable. We are not fans of hot buffet breakfasts and would have preferred a freshly...
