Came here with my fiancee to celebrate her birthday, and enjoy some quiet relaxing time. What an amazing stay. We arrived and had lunch in the Waterside Restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. After lunch we checked in to our room, however, we wanted a room with a view of the canal which ours...

Went here for a valentines/birthday overnight stay. Had the 'Time together is Quay' spa package, which for £65 I thought was very reasonable. We were welcomed at the spa by the friendly staff and given a robe and slippers and towel and then given a tour so we knew where everything was. Then we had the buffet lunch which was...

I booked over the phone and paid a little extra to have a newly refurbished room on the 2nd or 3rd floor over looking the canal. However, when we arrived we were on the ground floor. I was a little disappointed as I had booked it for a surprise for my boyfriend and didn't want to put a downer on...

Staff were very sociable, room was clean and pleasant if a little on the small side, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable. On the down side all the rooms seemed to be in one complex and even to have breakfast you have to walk outside next door. Spa facilities are a good walk away, which in warmer weather...

Enjoyed a weekend spa break here with an all-inclusive package. Rooms are small but cosy, service is excellent & the spa facilities are second to none. We ate in both restaurants and found the meals to be superb. A real luxury break. Only one niggle & that was the shower temperature in the bathroom, which was little more than luke...

Reception staff are pleasant enough but some restaurant staff have bad attitude! On one of the busiest nights of the year (Valentine's weekend) they ran out of vanilla ice cream, risotto starter, Rioja and Shiraz. Food tasty but very expensive. £25 for Monkfish curry, same price as steak. Double room was tired-looking and small. I have stayed in better Premier...
