When we arrived the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help my husband find somewhere to watch the football, even drawing a map for him. Our room was very comfortable and, as I was not very well, and Amber went out of her way to help by cooking something for me personally. The only downside...

We have been coming here for several years for lunch or evening meal but this is the first time we've stayed. On occasions the service has not been good with either too few or new untrained staff trying to their best. This time everyone who dealt with us was polite & good at their job. Arrived after 7 & welcomed...

We planned to have a meal there with friends who we hadn't seen for a long time, so wanted it to be special. They had driven 5 hours to get there. The evening started out well, with the staff very attentive, but what a shame that it went down hill from there. The food was totally unacceptable. Three of us...

Booked this for a night stop to visit relatives. The shame is that, with a little care and updating, this could actually be a really great place. However, the reality is somewhat different. The receptionist and restaurant staff were absolutely lovely. It was the room that let it down. Nice location, overlooking the garden, but there is a very narrow...

We had visited this hotel/restaurant previously and could find no fault, so much so we were really looking forward to eating there tonight. How wrong can you be. The candle on the table poured wax all over the table and the waitress had no idea how to clean the table. Our starters were very good apart from the honey &...

I staid at the St. Leonards 4 nights a week during a period of three months now and it has been very good. Let's start with the positives. Convenient location right next to A31 and despite this quiet. Oh and breakfast was great. Main light in room wasn't working, thank goodness for the iPhone torch! Very dated and...
