We had a lovely stay at this great B&B. Bill & Pauline couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast deserves all of the awards (currently covering an entire wall). Very handy for Kielder Water and the Observatory.

My partner and I stayed here whilst we visited the Kielder observatory. We were warmly welcomed by Bill and were immediately impressed with the gorgeous views. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious and locally sourced. Overall a very comfortable experience with Bill and Pauline clearly having worked hard to create a homely and welcoming environment. Would definitely stay... More

Have spent a night here on my own over a year ago, I brought my wife for a walking holiday and were once again warmly welcomed by Bill & Pauline. It was like coming back to old friends and set the foundation for another lovely stay. We were here for three nights and ate sumptuous breakfasts every morning and benefited... More

The beautiful position of Eals Lodge close to Kielder Water, the amazing breakfast using local produce, the lovely room, the fantastic Isla the dog, and last but not least the genuinely friendly and helpful Bill and Pauline who were amazing hosts. This is a gem of a B & B

Really lovely B and B, Bill was very kind and welcoming, and very knowledgable about the local area. We stayed in the family room at the top which was spacious, spotlessly clean and was excellent value. Breakfast was great. Very family friendly.

We were booked to stay here 5th December for a night before our winter wonderland experience at kielder. Unfortunately this is when storm Desmond struck. Bill rang us straight away to inform us of this, he rang as he was genuinely worried for our safety, he advised us of a website to keep a check on with regards to which... More

Can't recommend Eals B&B enough! Bill made us feel so welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were immaculate, warm and comfy. Bill made a fantastic breakfast with local produce and fresh eggs from their chickens roaming the hill behind the house. Bird feeders by the window gave us plenty to watch, then we drove to Slate &... More

Concurring with the overwhelming feedback and comments.. Bill and Pauline offer a warm welcome, and real comfort in a B&B with charm and character and where attention to detail makes it special.
