The staff couldn't have been better- very friendly and lovely to our little kids. The location and the view were to die for- beautiful farm. The cabin could do with some new paint/pictures and I did find an old bit of carrot in the dish scrubbing brush- but that's about it. It is a farm stay and it is perfect...

Nice clean cabins overlooking the lake. The lake can be used for swimming, fishing (fresh water bass), kayaking or rowing (life jackets available). Nice open paddocks for kids to run, quite a few walks to rainforest, stonehenge, bamboo grove, platypus ponds or sunset view over the ocean. Feed the chickens, collect fresh eggs, pick fresh herbs and fruit when in...

We couldn't have been any happier with our stay here. Ivan and Angela were so accommodating and friendly. My 3 year old was able to collect eggs from the chickens, brush and feed the horses and even kayak on the lake. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very handy to have and we loved the view...

We stayed here for three nights as a family of four in cabin 6. What a place! We snorkelled, swam and kayaked in the lake. The kids collected chickens eggs and ate them fresh each morning. We walked some trails, saw the sunset from the sunset viewpoint. We didn't do half of the things we could do, we just relaxed....

We stayed here in January 2015 with our two daughters and would highly recommend it. Highlights for us were fresh eggs every morning (and an opportunity to pet chickens) herding the cows, walking the horse, rowing on the lake, exploring the property and seeing turtles and platypus in the wild! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, well equipped with a stunning...

My fiancé surprised me by taking me here just before Christmas. The owners were very accommodating. The cottage was very clean and quaint. We would wake up to cows by our front door in the morning. And had exclusive access to a hill with a picnic table overlooking Byron bay. Only 5 mins from town it was nice peaceful get...

In September we stayed 4 nights at the Farmstay. It was quiet and relaxing. The cottage was roomy and comfortable with everything we needed. We went to sleep and woke up to the call of the whipbirds. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. The view from across the road is to die for. We even found an echidna on one...

Our 4 day stay was fantastic. We were relaxed from the minute we arrived, and didn't want to leave. We were even lucky enough to wake up on our first morning and find a baby calf had been born just a few hours ago, just under a tree across from our cabin - just beautiful. Our cabin had everything we...

Wow, Tammy W what a brilliant review - many thanks! What a treat seeing a calf born! Great to hear you relaxed but also managed to get stuck into the activities on the farm & in the surrounding area. We agree that Byron Bay Farmstay is a great alternative to staying on the Byron beachfront!

My husband booked 2 nights here while we were travelling the North Coast for our honeymoon, I was worried about leaving this in my husband's hands but he chose the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind. We took advantage of the dam and the paddle boat one afternoon, it was beautiful being surrounded by all the Water Lillie's...

The cottage was very comfortable and the queen size bed provided a great nights sleep. The on suite bathroom was very modern and functional. It was always a...
