We came across this place almost by mistake when looking for accommodation in the mountains and so glad that we did. It is set in a wonderful location and is just far enough away from Byron to provide easy access whilst retaining the peace and tranquility of the countryside. The cottage we stayed in (No 4) was quite rustic but...

This was our second time here. Whilst the cabins are very adequate the atmosphere of the surroundings and bird life make this a very serene spot to chill out from a busy life. Perfectly situated between Byron and Bangalow and the hinterland. A true oasis! We will be back! John & Kate

We (my parents from Germany, my husband and our little son )spent 2 nights at a 2 Bedroom Cottage and we wish we would have had longer. Its a little oasis and the perfect little getaway for families and friends who are not fussed about the ocean view. We loved the nature, the cows running around and the birds singing in...

Our family had a fantastic weekend here. Our kids (8 & 4) loved visiting the cows and we all enjoyed paddling around the lake in the canoe!! Angela, the owner, met us when we arrived and took the time to tell us about all the things we could do and see around the property.

This place is unreal. It is incredibly private yet very central to both Byron and Bangalow. The cabins are very comfortable with fantastic views. As you drive in you are welcomed by the very friendly wildlife which my son thought was great fun. The owner Ivan is so friendly and accommodating taking us in to feed and meet the horses....

Highly recommend this spectacular location.! The kids roamed wild and free interacting with the farm animals. The cottages were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. The most peaceful holiday we have ever had!

Angela and Ivan are wonderful hosts and made us very welcome. We felt we got to share their farm with them, collecting the chicken eggs, watching the cows and the wonderful sunset from the paddock at Hayters Hill. We definitely recommend staying here for some R & R, it is somewhere we hope to return to in the future.

Impressive or what! We really enjoyed our time on this wonderful 300 acre farm. We don't usually stay at farmstays, but had been put off by the cost of Byron Bay and the lack of a need to pay megabucks to hang about with this year's in-crowd. So, we were really please. At first the kids panicked when they found...

We stayed in this beautiful beautiful place at Hayter's Hill. Couldn't be any happier. Angela and Ivan were very hospitable. Couldn't believe they are the only ones maintaining this place. Cottage itself was very clean and neat. Full kitchenette (except the oven). Drive to Woolworths was just 5 mins away. Bought food to cook which the kids loved having a...
