4 of us came down for a week long surfing trip, with every intention of traveling further south, but after landing at Costanera B&B, we cancelled our plans and stayed here all week. We checked out several hotels here in Hermosa (theres probably about 8-10, all along the water). Most were disgustingly filthy, full of cobwebs and dust, dirty sheets... More

Stayed there for 8 nights! Our friend Zach RAVED about this place..as in begged my boyfriend and I to skip Tamarindo and just go to Playa Hermosa and stay @ the Costanera. We thought we would stay half of our visit to Costa Rica there, but it was so charming, peaceful, pleasant...we stayed the entire trip. I read some of... More

We called this place in the afternoon to check if they have any vacancy, and the guy on the phone told me that yes, but no a/c. So we got there. The room was stuffy, but since we were offered to be moved to a better room next day we stayed. There is no restaurant contrary to LP guide book... More

We stayed in the Costanera Bed&Breakfast for a long weekend in June 2011. The Italian owner was very friendly and sure knows how to serve a yummy breakfast. The rooms are very clean and cosy, there´s warm water in the shower and the beach is only 3 steps away. There is a parking facility if you arrive by car. Great... More

This B & B was fine. Good breakfast included. No TV's in rooms which I believe is a good idea. I don't know why the other review was so negative. No ATM's in this town. Taxi ride to Jaco about $5 US You must eat at the restaurant at the north end of town for dinner. The $11 US sesame... More

Where to start...My wife and I arrived at Costanera after dark from San Jose. I had made arrangements for a room at Costanera Bed & Breakfast in advance. I had only seen one review on trip advisor, which was positive, and thought I'd take a chance on this place. Unfortunately, it didn't work out as well as I had hoped.... More

I made reservations here for 2 nights after escaping the craziness of Jaco. When I walked out of my room onto the balcony, I knew I had found a little piece of paradise. The rooms are very charming, romantic even. The hammocks and lounge chairs right outside my room were a great place to spend lazy afternoons. And you are... More
