The historical palace renewed over 6years ago with the highest attention to a single detail. This place offers beautiful surrounding and calm atmosphere of a cosy place (the palace owns 10 rooms, what guarantees individual approach to every guest). The owner runs manufacture and servs its products. One is also able to purchase some of goods od their favour. The basement of the palace is hiding a small, beautifully finished SPA, which I may sincerely recommend.
If you want to take a time out, enjoy the nature, speed down and enjoy fatastic food and natural products: go there. We stayed there for one night. Already when you arrive, you feel the nature and the silence. The rooms are well equipped for that standard. We enjoyed a great dinner with fantastic food from natural products there. The breakfast buffet was rich and fine, you feel that the owner and the staff like their work and do it with passion. It is not easy and quite far, to get there. But when you are there, you get a lot for your money.
Here for two nights - Nice enough place, quiet, tranquil setting. Dinner was truly awful - however nice the building may be, it is 25 km from the nearest dining alternative and dinner is important! I've attached a photograph (I've never attached a photograph to Tripadvisor before!) showing the 7 teeny potato cakes and 9 dumplings that were brought to the table with absolutely no other choices for dinner - at least one other couple complained as well but management were clearly disinterested. Aside from a salad starter and a bun (honestly!) for pudding that was it!!! Breakfast the next morning included eggs/mayonnaise from the day before (the mayonnaise was discoloured and a tad 'hard') as well as the the sweet buns from dinner the night before! If you do stay here take a picnic!!! (But there are lots of such places in Poland and until this place stops scrimping on the food I'd avoid it). The inability of management to recognise the issues with the food speaks volumes about their inability to change. The location is pretty 'middle of nowhere' - nice for peace and quiet but you've got to get out and eat!!!!…
. This year we decided to spend our Easter holidays far away from Warszawa. After some hesitation we’ve chosen small palace hotel in Cielesnica, which is situated 25 km away from Biala Podlaska. As far as I understood before 1945 the palace belonged to the family Rozyczka de Rosenwerth. After the 2ww it was confiscated by communist government. In 2009 the palace (in pretty poor shape by then) was bought by local businessman Mr. Dariusz Chwesiuk, who invested quite a money to turn it into boutique hotel. The result is really impressing! The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The only one problem I’ve had was quality of WiFi – it didn’t really work at the room on the first floor. The personnel is great asset of the hotel and restaurant. Extremely helpful ladies were trying their best to make our staying at Cielesnica Palace as nice as possible. Another advantage of Cielesnica is food served at the palace restaurant. Local, natural products used to prepare traditional Polish dishes, make dining at Cielesnica a great event for all visitors. We have really enjoyed our holidays in Cielesnica – I just hope we will be able to repeat that experience next year! …
The Palace has been redone as a project of restoring one of Polands palaces by a Polish clothes company using a bit of EU euros. There is a lot to like here. The view of the house as shown in photos is first rate, the interior is just as nice with grand views and lots of little touches around. You are invited to pick fruit and vegetables from the large garden on the plot next door and that is where most of the food comes from. The breakfast and dinners were wonderfully fresh and full of polish flavors. We boated on the lake, while not trying to bother the swans too much and sat in the chairs that were suspended from the trees. All in all a wonderful experience.
