Positives: Well thought-out site, good hair dryers in shower facility, fairly close to Stonehenge (10’ drive or an hour's walk) and Glastonbury (1hr drive) - where we were going to book our wedding venue. We recommend the cosy, family-run pub down the road - it doesn't serve food on a Monday, but it is worth going back for! We were...

There are ample signs informing you of the 5 mile per hour speed limit but you approached the Reception at such speed you skidded and threw stones up at the windows. Moments earlier there was a small child standing in front of reception which was very lucky for you that you did not cause injury! Of course the Warden was...

Booked in here so as to visit Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathederal. Lovely welcome from the wardens and given a pitch, secluded and quiet. The facilities are not really adequate for the amount of people who could be on site as there are two fields for camping and four pods and about 6 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, with a gents...

Thank you so much for your kind review and we are so glad you enjoyed our special campsite! We do have two showers for the men and two for the ladies plus seven toilets which increase for busy peak times. The men's end shower room you refer to is often occupied for long periods due to having its own shower,...

Stayed there this week and would definitely recommend. Nice clean showers, toilets and utility area. Low cost and ideal for visiting Stonehenge. There's a good pub in walking distance, but take a torch!

Thank you so much for your kind review and the five stars! That's a great tip about the torch as pretty dark at night but fantastic for all the stargazers out there! Do come and see us again soon?

Just back from a weekend away and we enjoyed it there very much. It is small but well kept, the wardens are helpful and friendly and the surrounding countryside is lovely. It's a 10 minutes walk from Berwick st James, its pub the boot inn and a little farm shop. Stonehenge is a short drive away but there are 2...

Thank you very much for your kind review and that you appreciated our beautiful countryside location. We are very sorry that after being closed for our winter break we had a few teething problems but are happy to say we are now up and running as normal! Look forward to seeing you both again in the near future! :)

I absolutely love this site. It's got bags of character, awesome pitches and some brilliant walks. We had a really warm welcome from the family that run the site. We got recommended some really nice walks to take the dog on and got a choice of pitches. The facilities were top class and so warm. We went in our Campervan...

Pitched on the camping field during October half term so it was fairly quiet but there were a few campers and people using the pods (which were amazing!) The facilities were immaculate and (only two showers in the ladies so i'm not sure how this would cope in the summer when its busy???) The campers kitchen has everything provided which...

Thank you so much for your kind review and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The music thing is our campsite licence rule and not the Wardens being party poopers, we appreciate you respecting this and so glad it did not spoil your stay. Please do come and see us again?

We are just back from our second stay in the glamping pods at this spotless and relaxing campsite with excellent facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our little break in fox pod and love the relaxing atmosphere this site has. Yes the gates are "secured" at night (a standard procedure at many family orientated sites we have been to)but as a single...

We were combining a visit to an aunt near Winchester ( about 50 mins away ) with the opportunity to explore an area we had never visited before. The campsite is lovely - not too big and well laid out - and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The proprietors are also relaxed and friendly! And very helpful. There is...

This is a well laid out site with well kept clean facilities (although closing them all for cleaning at the same time, from 11am to 1pm, could be hard on the incontinent) the benefits of firepits and level pitches and fields. Just returned from a weekend staying in the moon pod at the campsite. Seriously don't listen to the reviews regarding the wardens and owners - it's a quiet relaxing campsite so isn't the type of place you'd go for a wild time as if this was happening while we were there it would have definitely ruined it for us. We...
