Malcolm Island is very quiet, and this end of the island is the epitome. It's near the end of the road (an unpaved one). The Sea Cottage has everything you need for a quiet, reflective retreat. But bring all the food you'll need--there aren't really any restaurants on the island. Deer wander around the property. We spent an afternoon sitting...

Got in late after a long day of driving, what a great little find. Super hosts, great views, total relaxation sitting by the fire waitng for dinner in the oven. We'll be back for a blacksmithing lesson soon.

Wonderful hosts made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the Sea Cottage which has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a great room (living/dining/kitchen). Beautiful setting amidst a forest of trees with excellent views of the ocean for whale watching. Comfortable, roomy layout of great room with interesting art that lets your imagination...

My sister and I stayed in the Sea Cottage and it was clean, comfy beds, and ever so quiet. All conveniences yet a natural experience. We saw whales from far away and one evening, up close. Great hosts, knowing when to engage us and when to let us enjoy the peace. Dancer the horse gave us some entertainment and the...

If you looking for a B&B downtown fighting the crowds or antique stores on every corner, this is not the place. We wanted to find a quiet place to relax and found this at Dunroven B&B. Almost wilderness like at the end of the island, with endless places to walk and explore. Beautiful scenery with deer, an occasional eagle and...

Soooooo relaxing. The hosts, Dan and Lauren are warm and welcoming people. The deer in the yard, the ocean out front, the sounds of the country, all lead to a retreat style vacation. The sea cottage is well equipped so one can pack a suitcase, pick up some groceries at the local Co-op and make your way to Dunroven. My...

We (wife and I) have stayed at the cabin semi-regularly for a number of years. The landscape is beautiful, the owners friendly, and the atmosphere is great at encouraging relaxation. Definitely a wonderful place to recharge the batteries, read a good book, and explore the island.

We have stayed at Dunroven a few times now, The Sea cottage was our home and Dan and Lauren are great people. We opted for the breakfast each morning and always had wonderful food and fun, friendly conversations. Malcome Island is small, exactly what we were looking for and the local people are quick to recognise you and always helpful....

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the island and the Sea Cottage. The Forge was lots of fun and enjoyed learning how to bend steel. The cabin itself could do with a little better housekeeping and newer towels but Being how isolated the area it was still good.
