There is nothing new to say about this wonderful establishment that has not been said many times already in these reviews. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the whole experience was special, even trying to lock the doors with the wrong key was entertaining while it lasted. Many thanks to Kathryn & Paul who were always...

Gary - It was our pleasure! The little man continues his roller coaster ride. All looking good except he needs to put on some weight. Thanks so much for all your kind words and hope you will return.

Stayed 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Warm, friendly welcome and food was excellent. Enjoyed playing with the dogs and seeing the Alpacas. Central location for visting sites on Hadrians wall. Great places to eat nearby in the evenings.

We stayed for three nights to dome some walking and visit a few National Trust properties in the area. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, breakfast is excellent with a good choice of dishes, and the hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The location, so close to Hexham, is convenient for a wide choice of Pubs and Restaurants. If...

By far the best B&B we have stayed at - modern, spotlessly clean, peaceful and with every little personal touch thought of. Our children travelled with us and enjoyed the dogs, Alpacas and the trampoline. The breakfast was excellent and both Paul and Kathryn were the perfect hosts; nothing was too much trouble.

A welcoming B&B with large, comfortable rooms and Llamas to look at while you are enjoying an excellent breakfast. This is a great place to stay - quiet, well run and friendly. There are dogs and cats to chat to if you are missing your own pets.

The room was clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The served breakfast was very tasty. The attached alpaca farm made the stay more of an experience than just a place to rest. Paul and Kathryn were very friendly and accommodating. Kindly booked us a reservation at a local Pub which served great food. Convenient location for travelling to attractions in...

A nice quiet B&B that is ideal for a visit to Hadrian's Wall. There are alpacas and chickens. The rooms are very well decorated, modern and clean. Breakfast was of a very high standard with fresh eggs and homemade jam. Paul was very helpful with advice on the wall.

We stayed 5 nights at the Fairshaw Rigg - it is in such a good location to explore Hadrian's Wall and get to the beautiful coast. Rooms and facilities are great. Breakfasts were the best - especially the scrambled eggs and homemade bread! Thanks to Paul and Kathryn for being so friendly and helpful!
