Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Whenever possible, we/I are guests at the Agnesenhof. The reason is simple. The family atmosphere is experienced at every moment and passed on to the guest. It starts with the greeting, continues in the pretty and individually designed guest rooms and culminates in the magnificent end of each day at dinner. What the kitchen conjures up on the table every time is of the very finest. Jonas and his team are happy to compete with the very best in their field. The creativity of taste, combined with culinary art and attention to detail, makes eating here an experience.
The entire service team is also outstanding - and how could it be otherwise - an excellent breakfast the next morning. And lots of beaming and cheerful faces.
I'm already looking forward to the next time. The ring is an incredible adrenaline experience. The Agnesenhof is the crowning glory of the day.

In mid-October 2023, I spent a night at the Agnesen-Hof because of its proximity to the Nürburgring and was completely satisfied. It is a very well-run, charming country hotel with fine cuisine and an excellent selection of regional wines from the Ahr. The service in the restaurant, as well as the reception staff, was very friendly and professional at the same time. The single room I booked was very clean and relatively modern. In terms of value for money, the hotel is an absolute recommendation; I will be happy to book there again for future events at the Nürburgring.

Jonas and his team will put all the magic on you. Food wine card service and his wife Kira will let you feel like totally home. Fireplace romantik , own bread recipe, own meat from the forest and best selection of wine with more than fair prices will give you the feeling like neverwant to leave. And wait you fall asleep in the totally renewed rooms. You will never want to get up again.

The Nürburgring is certainly one of the best places in the world for motorsport. Culinary problems have been difficult. But here you will find craftsmanship great cooking . I liked the venison from my own hunt better than a similar dish in the 3 star restaurant nearby. Marillen Knödl could not have been better. But above all, an incredibly loving and competent team.
Thank you

I’ve stayed and eaten at the Agnesen-Hof many times with friends but returned this month with my wife for a short break. Britta and her team run a lovely hotel and the restaurant is excellent. It’s by far the best place to eat and stay with IHG easy reach of the Nürburgring too.

We recently stayed at this hotel as part of a large group visiting the Nurburgring. The rooms are extremely comfortable, staff and service are fantastic. We ate at the hotel several times as a large group and the service could not have been better. One particular highlight was the BBQ...

For the past 10-years I have visited the Agnesen-Hof as part of a corporate event for the Nurburgring.

I have never left there anything other than completely satisfied. The rooms are excellent, the staff are helpful and courteous and what more can be said about the food and wine. The courtyard-based BBQ suppers are something else...

Simply excellent!

Its like being at home away from home, Britta & Alex are the warmest hosts who think of everything that you might need.... The main part of the hotel is attached to their house that is of old stone construction, very pretty and it feels homely! The converted barn serves as the restaurant with stylish decor, high ceilings and great food. There is a set menu so you can't choose but the food is always fantastic and the portions are huge, don't eat too much of the delicious warm bread with creme fraish, pesto and butter or you won't finish your main course! Breakfast is equally filling, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, cheese & meat cuts, fresh juices.....what a great way to start the day..... The rooms are bright and comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean & have fantastic water pressure, for a great shower. The only downsides are the wifi is not great and when its hot, with the windows open (no AC in the rooms!) you can hear the passing traffic as its quite close to the road. But still, I couldn't think of a better place to relax then in the courtyard after a busy day on track with a cold drink ..... You will be lucky to get in as they are nearly always fully booked! :-)

We love to come back to this excellent and charming family run hotel when we are in the area as the rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is always great but most of all for the warm welcome that all the guests receive here, its like being home away from home..... We stayed two nights and had a fantastic dinner outside in the courtyard, the most tender wild boar that I have ever tasted (I eat mostly vegetables, not much meat!).... The breakfast is always excellent, all in all another great experience and we will always come back! Thank you Britta, complimenti!

I was surprise by the service of Britta and Alex and all their staff... It was late at night when I arrive, got lost by gps, still they manage to make me feel like home. This place have a good combination been comfortable, clean, quiet, room it's cozy and good enough for a good night sleep and relax.

True what other said about hearing cars from road, for a car enthusiast (like most that stay there) it's not a problem, and there's no air condition, but you don't actually need it IMO, other things will compensate your stay anyways.

Finally woke up early for the Nurburgring track day, breakfast was amazing, fresh bread, eggs, marmalade, coffee, chocolate, fresh natural juice, fruits, yogurt, sehr gut!!!

I recommend this place to anyone going to the ring and wanted a good and fresh stay with nice service and breakfast. 😁
