Yes the rooms are in need of an update but adequate, I feel cheated because I had a new fridge. We stayed in room 73 ground floor on a beautiful sandy beach. The reef is one of the best I've seen and being married to a diver I've seen a lot. The food is very good always something to eat...

Just back from 2 weeks at Biyadhoo on the 23rd November. This was our 7th trip to the Maldives. We had a wonderfully relaxed holiday with great diving and return on the 9th January 2010 for 3 weeks, which should say plenty. If you read the reviews recently posted by Delta 123 & Titantriggerfish then anything I might add would...

yes i did moan but the rooms were fine. they were cleaned twice daily. ok not like we would. think some people were envious because they had top floor rooms and had to come down stairs. about 2 mins walk to the sea, and due to it taking that long they would stay there till bang on nose bag time....

There are loads of reviews of this island, however I want to add my opinion. My partner and I have now been to the Maldives 6 times and love the place. We've previously stayed in Baros (before and after refurbishment), Fihalhohi (twice), Vilamendhoo and now Biyadoo. We were lucky enough to be able to afford to visit the Maldives unexpectedley...

I was so happy to stay calm water side although next to busy Jetty. room cleaning was once a day. no TV in the room and everywhere. lights on the side of...

Lots have been written about Biyadhoo already and I agree whole heartedly that it is a bit shabby in spots but great value for the overpriced Maldives, without the frills but very comfortable, large clean rooms, laid-back but friendly helpful staff, good food - well cooked, some variety enough to suit most tastes (you wont go hungry, most people where...

My husband and I are really fussy when it comes to cleanliness, food and accommodation etc. and the reviews that we already read were a little daunting. However, we just got back from 2 weeks and we had a wonderful time. True, the accommodation is tired but it was cleaned twice a day - true the food may not be...

After reading all the reveiws on tripadvisor, we knew what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodation, although basic, dated and tired, it was very clean, Food was a bit samey, but very well cooked and well displayed. This is our Fourth Island, and in its own way Biyadhoo has certainly met all expectaions and more. It is...

We spent a long, long time researching the right place for our first visit to the Maldives. After all, it's a lot of money and it feels like a pretty scary decision to make. We were looking for great snorkeling, an unspoiled location and two weeks peace and quiet without being ripped off. On Biyadoo, that's what we got. To...
