This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. i must say that it was everything that we expected. In fact, this stay was even better than the first. The room we had was in the annexe and was reasonably large and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again. The only downside is that...

We had booked two rooms well in advance and arrived with our friends, to be told that the hotel had made a mistake and that they only had one room. We were offered a room in another hotel about 2 miles away, which was unacceptable as we had travelled together in one car and planned to spend the weekend in...

Stayed here with my wife on our wedding night and was really impressed by a hotel we'd both driven past 1000 times each. The overall service was excellent as well. From the moment I booked i was well informed of times and services they provide. I arrived with my 2 ushers and best man and the lady on reception couldn't...

We spent three nights in Room 4, which is at the front of the building. We had a very friendly welcome, lovely room and a good choice for breakfast. The Limes is brilliantly located for everything you might want to do in Maldon. We would certainly recommend it, and we would stay again.

We booked two double rooms, and they were immaculate. Rooms 1 and 2 were situated in the main building at the front with bay windows and a very adequate shower room, with lovely fluffy towels. We stayed 3 nights and the rooms were tidied each day, with good tea/coffee making facilties. Breakfasts were very good with good choices - homemade...

There had been a mix up with our booking and so although we were accommodated it wasn't in the room we had requested (lower floor). I have a knee problem so this was a bit of an issue as were right at the top of the house in the attic. Add into that we stayed during a heatwave meaning the...

My husband and I stayed in room 3 and loved the rustic country feel of the room, very spacious and stunning décor. The staff are extremely welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I would like to give very high praise to the two young ladies in the kitchen during breakfast. Bethan was very attentive and...

We stayed in Room 10 in one of the annexes. It was a pleasant enough room but the double bed, with a wooden frame took up a large part of the floor area. There was no real space to put our bags so they were tucked away on the floor in a corner hoping that we would not fall over...

My daughter and I spent a Saturday night in a room that was in a building around a courtyard to the back of the main building. The room was spotless and large with a king size bed and a single. Bottles of water were in the room which was great as we had not had time to buy any on...

Great location near the high street and only a short walk down to the riverside pubs and promenade park. The room was in a building around a small courtyard with a patio garden where you could enjoy sitting in the sun. Weather permitting you could have your breakfast 'Al fresco' on the patio or in the bright conservatory. The room...
