This is the second year in a row that I have stayed at Afan Lodge, each time for a 3 day mountain biking holiday with friends. The service is excellent, the rooms are superb and the location is spot on for exploring the countless MTB trails that Afan has to offer. The Lodge has brilliant facilities for anyone wanting to...

Stayed for 3 nights end of April, and was the best break I've had in a couple of years! ! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, I found this great as it's my first time mountain biking in Wales, especially as the owner is an experienced rider and always on hand to help with where to ride, and help...

Very nice and modern place to stay, sat in the middle of the Welsh hills. A good place to get away from it all as phone signal is very poor (good excuse to turn it off). A simple evening menu but food was nicely cooked and presented. A real find for cyclists and secure for bikers like us. Oh yes...

This hotel is the perfect location for MTB fun. The hotel is clearly purpose built. And well thought out to provide affordable quality lodgings with all the home comforts and more. The stag were very friendly and helpful and the food was hearty will a well stocked bar. The location of the lodge could not be better with paths leading...

The staff here make your trip enjoyable and fun. I stayed with a mate and had to change the booking at the last minute. Helen was great and sorted it all out no problem. On the first night I was happy to sit in the bar chatting to Vicky who made us sample the lovely Welsh cider. She cooked our...

Stayed at the Afan Lodge in April after accommodation in Snowdonia fell through at the last minute. Wish we had found this place first! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Room was clean, well maintained and provided a stunning view of the Afan Valley. Food was great and prices (for food and nighty rate) very reasonable. Couldn't fault...

We stayed for 3 nights and used the lodge as a base for visiting mountain bike trails at Cwmcarn Forest, Bike Park Wales and Afan Forest itself. The biggest asset for the lodge is the staff. So friendly, so helpful, so happy (loved the karaoke from the kitchen whilst cleaning down in the evening!) The lodge is fantastically situated for...

Travelled to Wales as had a meeting on the Monday, having looked at several places to stay decided on the Afan Lodge as the pictures looked great & the views were lovely. On arrival we asked the young lady behind the bar if we could check in, we then had to wait for her to finish serving the drinks &...

Stayed for two nights. Room was large, clean and functional. Bathroom clean with good shower over bath. They are well set up for MTB with a good bike store. The MTB riding is great and can all be accessed direct from the lodge and is the reason to stay at Afan Lodge. We ate one night in the restaurant. Lots...

Stayed for two nights last week whilst on business. Rooms was modern and clean, view was great across the valley and no problem parking. The hospitality was absolutely superb, with nothing too much trouble at a level that's rarely seen. Food was great and whilst wifi wasn't available in the room, it was available in the bar area without any...
