Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here last October & returned for a second visit with friends. Still a great park with very welcoming owners however still disappointed at no hand drying facilities in either amenities blocks & no rubbish bin either. Still a great place to stay though & will not hesitate to return.

Booked early just for friday night. A nice shady lawn spot. The wind was blowing the crabs out of the sand. Nice and clean amenities. Pool under maintenance. Friendly staff and good rates for the older set. Cheers Beachy .

Our whole family just stayed here for five days. What a fantastic place. The caravan sites are huge, the amenities are very clean & the owners & staff are more than helpful & friendly. Short stroll to the river where you can fish, yabbie & bird watch or just enjoy the beautiful view. We would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing place to stay. We will be back

Bought a travel auction for our first stay at this caravan park & were not disappointed. Cobdogla is only 30 minutes from all major Riverland towns & only 12km from Banrock Station . This park is mostly grassed & shady with lots of trees. Owners are very friendly, courteous & helpful. The Cobdogla club is well worth a few minutes walk for a meal, especially for the meat raffles on Friday night. Even at full price this park is great value. Can even throw in a fishing line or yabbie net in the lagoon a 2min walk within the park. Park is quiet & peaceful. Only criticism is the useless hand dryer & lack of rubbish bin in the men’s shower block. Will most certainly be going back.

If you dont want the high prices and rigidness of the bigger name parks, this park is ideal. Roomy van sites, pet friendly and very clean amenities. Close to the river, ideal for canoes. Park management are friendly and accommodating. Sit back and relax and enjoy the serenity and birdlife. Will definately be back.

would I return ??? yep for sure, have a tinny and like to fish the boat ramp is 80m away ... use your receipt and walk to the "coby club" which is under 10 min at a slow pace and get 20% discount on meals ... nice neat little get away caravan park … yes it is aging, but everything is very clean ..... the sites are a really nice size …. if your in your 20's or 30's this is probably not for you …. if the wind is the wrong way you can hear the semi's using the highway … want to sit back and read a book, then just do it .... that is the good, bad and ugly with no sugar coating ..... and yes I would return ....

A group of friends stayed over the Adelaide Cup Weekend. The park itself was very neat and clean and the sites are large and grassy. Great location on the river and far enough away from the highway not to hear noise. The only noise you hear is the sound of the local birds and wildlife. All the amenities were clean, the showers were hot and room to move when changing. The pool was clean and refreshing. Camp kitchen is basic but has all you need and clean. Owners Karen, Allan and Marcus are very friendly and accommodating and offer good suggestions for things to do in the local area. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

Just spent 4 peaceful nights here with our caravan. A lovely park with huge grassy sites. The new owners are lovely and doing a fantastic job. The amenities are spotlessly clean. Lovely camp kitchen a swimming pool and playground for the children.

A great park for a short or long stay. The amenities may be a bit old, but they are bright and clean. The new owners Karen, Alan and Marcus are very helpful, friendly and always have a smile, nothing is too much bother. The park its self is nice and quiet, and has well laid out large powered site, and multiple non powered sites. There are a range of cabins available, I cannot comment on these as we stayed in our van. The camp kitchen has most things and is also very clean, with a swimming pool next to it. There is a lovely lagoon next to the park which leads out onto the River Murray. Lots of bird life and some wonderful sunsets. The park has several kayaks that you can rent, I recommend taking one out onto the lagoon, even if you have never been in one before. Either travelling on your own or with the family, put Cobdogla ( yes I know its a tongue twister) Station Caravan park on your list.
