We enjoyed our stay at The Murano Palace - we had a canal-view room which was a good size with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Cesare (the owner) really made our stay by recommending places to visit/eat, as well as invaluable vaporetto advice and his genuine interest in us enjoying our time in Venice. If you want a pleasant,...

I really, really wanted to love it here, but I just didn't. Murano doesn't have a lot of places to stay, but I was keen to spend the day before and the day after our cruise on Murano instead of in Venice proper, so we needed 2 separate nights in a hotel. I booked Murano Palace for both but ended...

Murano palace is in a very nice location in Murano - just at the canal and a walking distance from the boat stations - the one where the boat from airport comes and also to the one where you take the boat to Burano. The staff is amazing, I Guess he's the owner - explained the map, gave precious recommendation...

I was taken to Venice as a birthday treat. Upon arrival at the Murano Palace we were offered a complimentary upgrade (as it was my birthday). Our canal side room was very comfortable and the hotel owners very welcoming. Caesar (the owner) went out of his way to help us making time to pass on his knowledge of the locality,...

We originally stayed at the Murano Palace late December of 2015 and we knew before we had even checked out that we were going to return again this December- and return we did! I can think of no better place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and quiet, the view of the canal is fascinating as you can watch the...

The Murano Palace is nicely situated a few minutes from the Vaporetto pier and above the hotel owners shop. Getting from the airport to the B & B hotel easy by use of a 8€ one way ticket purchased at the airport, and by the public Vaporetto a 20 minute journey, slower but a lot cheaper than the advertised £85...

It's a truely lovely hotel. Cesar the owner makes you feel extremely welcome and is very informative. The hotel is in an ideal location, away from the busy city and on a very pretty island. Restaurants and bars do not stay open too late on Murano as there are not many hotels. One of the water buses though is 24...

After a great trip to Venice last year, we chose Murano as our honeymoon destination. Cannot fault the experience. From the first minute when we were met canal side by Cesar after arriving late into the night we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much for Cesar; as mentioned in other reviews, he is a fantastic host who could...

Amazing quaint b&b. Cesar was an absolute gem. Perfect host! So helpful. Always smiling. Wonderful continental breakfast with cappuccino, lattes, Americano, tea etc. Beds very comfortable with unique decor in each room. Quiet. Close to water taxis and all amenities. Will definitely stay here again

The host is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home. The hotel is close to the important attractions and in my opinion it is better to stay in Murano than in Venice to be able to enjoy. I say this because Venice is overcrowded. The hotel is basic but very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What are the benefits of staying in Murano? And why Murano and Hotel Murano Palace attracts more than Venice? - The island of Murano has a strategic location at the center of the lagoon that allows, compared to Venice, connections faster and easier. In fact, from Venice "Marco Polo" you can use the direct waterbus "Alilaguna Blue" and in 25 minutes arrive to Murano (1 ° stop "Murano Colonna") and in only 3 minutes walk to the hotel. - From Santa Lucia train station and from Piazzale Rome depart ACTV waterbus Line 3 (Direct Murano) - 1 ° stop "Murano Colonna." - The connection to Venice is guaranteed all day and night. - Practical and convenient for guests arriving by water taxi as the hotel overlooking the canal. - Convenient, since only a few meters away is the ferry to the islands of Burano and Torcello. - Few people know that every 10 minutes there is a boat that in just 8 minutes reach Venice. - Murano is also greatly appreciated by our guests as far away from the chaos of the city of Venice, enjoy a quiet and relaxing. - Murano Palace offers charming rooms furnished with fine fabrics in '700 Venetian style and is located in a prestigious location in the heart of the island which faces one of its main channels - the Rio dei Vetrai where are the major stores and more prestigious names in the glass like Murano Barovier and Toso, Venini, Berengo Studio, Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto, Dino Rosin. ... more   less
