Hotel ideally situated for nearby Festival Theatre and town centre shopping. 17th century building full of character. Friendly staff. Comfortable period style room. Good breakfast. Car parking off site about 5 minutes walk but not a problem. Second stay and would stay again.

Lived in this town all my life and have walked past this pub countless of times. Decided to give it a go for a birthday meal and this place is really underrated! Food was so lovely! Just need to try out their cocktails out one night!

The building has age charm and character in abundance and the management/staff clearly have pride in their approach to customer service. This is not a plastic, modern,trendy... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night after a long journey driving down from Scotland. The hotel itself and rooms are lovely-very old and quaint. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We had an evening meal on arrival which was very good! The one big issue we had was the location... More

Find the Tudor a nice place to stay and the staff and owner friendly. We where in room four which is said by the locals to be haunted which I feel adds to the stay as it is a 17 th century building. We didn't meat any ghosts which was a bit of a disappointment but hey ho. Overall nice... More

Lovely Olde Worlde hotel, rooms are clean and tidy, on-suite toilet and shower. Our room has a four poster double bed. An excellent breakfast, with a reasonable choice, ranging from Continental to Full English. Friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.
