We happened upon this hotel when a house rental fell through, and could not believe our luck. The rooms are scattered in low rise stucco buildings with tile roofs and terraces overlooking the vineyards and surrounding hills. We came at the peak of lavender season, and it was glorious. We walked the vineyard, swam in the pools, and ate in all the restaurants. The only one to disappoint was the one overlooking the vineyard. The other two were delightful, with excellent food. The lunch buffet at the Italian restaurant by the pool was an outstanding value--save room for the cheese and dessert buffet! The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Although we did not use the spa, it looked beautiful and understand it is one of the top rated in France. Everything was thoughtful and allowed us to take day trips around the area and return to a relaxing afternoon languishing by the pool and enjoying the majestic views. We would love to return to this magical place in the Luberon.

We had a perfect stay at La Coquillade. The highlights were the beautiful view from our suite and the wonderful service from Daniel at the bar. We rented our bikes from the bike center and the service there was exceptional as well. The location is ideal and there are plenty of local restaurants if you choose to dine outside of the hotel. We will be back!

I only rate the property with 4 star, because actually it is really nice. The rooms are not luxury, but very functional and nice, with everything you may need, spacious, nice terrace and room cleaning was very good. The spa is just perfect, one of the best I had experienced. Very engaged and friendly staff. The only weak point are the restaurants, we have tried both, and both were miserable experience. Definitely need a significant improvement in the quality of food, because the prices are incredibly high for what you get.

We stayed for two nights and the best things about this property are the grounds and the staff. The entire resort is absolutely stunning and everything you imagine a hotel in Provence to be. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate and provide the best service.

Rooms are just ok - spacious and comfortable. My only issue is that the hotel mentioned each room is equipped with air conditioning on their website but that's definitely not the case. We arrived in a heatwave and our first room did not have a system that would even come on. After waiting for service to be called and having it looked at - they decided to relocate us to another room that simply had a fan. I wish they would have simply moved us right away rather than making us wait in limbo for two hours.
I realize hotels of this age in this location don't tend to have AC but it shouldn't be noted on the site as so.

The food unfortunately was simply average when we expected so much more. Breakfast was the best part on the beautiful terrace.

We were a bit disappointed that although they said the hotel was full, the services were not fully up and running and getting a drink after dinner was just not possible anywhere.

The pool and the grounds make up for the negatives though and hopefully once they're up and running fully once again, the small areas where they can improve will be addressed.

I am upset: in the last 10 years I stayed frequently at La Coqillade. It was always an unforgetable experience. It‘ s a luxury resort and they are right to demand the rates for what they offer. The point for my criticism is that all of a sudden they raised their rates in the order of magnitude of 60% from 2021 to 2022. As an example for a so-called „charming room“ I used to pay something like 450 € per night last year. Now they demand 790 € for the same room. The only difference is that now the same room is called „junior suite“. I wrote an e-mail in order to make sure that I did get really the correct rate. They responded that „ they made investments in the renovation of the reception“ and „… that by the arrival of new management it has become aware of the undeniable advantages of the house“. Do they want me take for an idiot?

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We much appreciate you being a loyal guest at Coquillade Provence. Indeed, while pricing has been kept rather stable in previous years we introduced yield management to manage our inventory. During times of high demand the room rates may therefore increase, during lower demand room rates decrease. Rates may change daily depending on the demand. Next week we do in fact offer a charming room, your preferred category, at €580 per night for two guests. Rate includes buffet breakfast and a selection of the minibar, both of which were not included in previous years. However, room categories have not changed: The charming rooms remained charming rooms. In addition, we are very pleased that our property underwent a significant refurbishment of all its public spaces, restaurants, bars and the Spa in 2021 which further enhanced the guest experience. We look forward to having the pleasure to welcoming you back to Coquillade Provence in the not too distant future and please do not hesitate to contact me to personally arrange your next visit. Sincerely,

Stayed for two nights in their entry level suite. The room and bathroom were huge and we had our own private terrace overlooking the vineyard. The room even came with a jacuzzi and a sauna. Very luxurious, new, comfortable and well thought out. Great amenities. Breakfast was first rate. Pool area and pools amazing. The only negative is that they need to have attendants regularly pass around to take drink and food orders. We had to go up to the main bar to order drinks and food. The spa is enormous and beautiful. Massage was great. The whole resort is just beautiful and peaceful!

We loved our stay in Coquillade Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived until we left everyone was so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and looked brand new, with a private patio with deck / lounge chairs. The service was amazing, especially from the concierge who gave us great recommendations. The resort itself is like a small village surrounded by vineyards, what more can you ask for? Very peaceful and relaxing! A great couples resort in the heart of Provence.

Beautiful place. Lovely rooms. Front of house staff exceptional. Very odd that on Mondays and Tuesdays there is literally no food available at the huge pool complex. You cannot even get a sandwich ! Very frustrating as there is nowhere close to get lunch. You can walk upstairs to the bar and get some Thai Snacks but the food there is really poor. We had pad Thai one night and the prawns were defrosted and raw. Really poor and very expensive. I don’t we how this is consistent with 5 stars??

Dear Explorer768005, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments following your recent stay at Coquillade Provence. I am delighted to read that the location of the hotel in the middle of Provence, the quality of our rooms and the attentive service of the house made your stay enjoyable. Coquillade Provence has two restaurants and two bars open: Les Vignes: our signature Provençale restaurant features local produce. Cipressa: our Italian restaurant features Mediterranean cuisine, antipasti buffet, pizza and pasta. Our main Bar serves original Thai cuisine to the acclaim of our guests and returning patrons. Our Pool side Bar which underwent an extensive refurbishment is now open and serves light snacking, salads, and desserts throughout the day. On Mondays and Tuesdays our Italian restaurant is closed in order to allow our staff to have their much deserved off days. On these two days, our guests may enjoy our offer at the pool side bar or choose to take a break from the day’s heat in the cool atmosphere of our main Bar. We do hope to have the pleasure to welcoming you back in a not too distant future, in the meantime, I remain at your entire disposal for any further request. Sincerely,

I went lo La Coquillade with some colleagues for a company incentive last week. It was superb! Located in the middle of peaceful vineyards, La Coquillade is a luxurious extensive resort with top notch facilities: amazing pools, beautiful and carefully manicured gardens, a magnificent spa…all the ingredients of the perfect holiday are present! Breakfast was rich both in quantity and in quality, staff were friendly and professional. Special mention for Rémi and Jade at the spa…a really pampering experience! Hope to go back with the family!

Really a run down place. Terrible administration, infrastructure, and service. No ambience for client satisfaction. 50% too expensive. Extremely unreactive responsiveness. The SPA a joke. No love to detail. If you request something as polite you do it, repeat it 3-4 times for being considered.
