In our first stay before our orang utan tour we were given rooms on the ground floor. One room strongly smelled like wine and the other room had two cockroaches in it (one of them dead under the pillow). After we complained we got a new room which was labeled as non-smoking but stinked terribly like smoke. For our stay...

The hotel is new and very clean, the rooms are very spacious, and the staff is extremely helpful, despite the language barrier. A good stop to clean up and relax after a few days in the jungle :) The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been a view on the garden vs. the field behind...

We stayed before and after the orangutan tour. Average hotel with decent size rooms, friendly staff, WiFi works only in the lobby. There are ATM machines opposite and banks 10 minutes walking distance. Would recommend just to make a quick stopover to rest after your adventure in the rain forest. Rooms could do with a better cleaning, all rooms have...

I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights in the same deluxe room. There are few hotels to stay in pangkalan bun and my river tour company recommended this hotel. The staff were all very nice - sometimes limited English. The room size was good. It could have done with more dusting. The air con was noisy but working...

We stayed here just the one night after our Tanjung Puting experience. We were very appreciative of the warm showers and comfortable rooms after spending a few nights living on a boat. The staff were very friendly and organised a taxi for airport transfer which was on time. The attached restaurant is also nice. Close to airport.

This hotel was a little more expensive than others but alot nicer. The room was clean and airconditioned, and the bathroom was big with plenty of hot water. There was wifi. The restaurant was decent and affordable and the hotel staff was very nice. They also were reliable in arranging transportation for. us, when needed.

It's nice to stay in this hotel, located right in main road. Clean, comfort and friendly staf, especially Zea, the receptionist. Behind the restaurant, there's a nice garden and big parking area. I like the hotel architecture, combination wood house and building. Good housekeeping, make it very comfort after work when enter the room. The laundry is quite cheap.

I stayed at the Arsela Hotel for one night before the trip to the nationalpark. It's a basic hotel. My room was dark and had no daylight. In the evening you can hear the music from the restaurant very well. The staff was friendly. There is nothing to do in and around the hotel.

Left the orangutang tour a day early because of stomach sickness. Tour guide took us here to stay the night before catching our flight in the morning. The room it's self was quite dirty but the bed was clean and free of bugs which was mainly what we needed to sleep off the sickness. A few points I thought were...

Stopped over a couple of times in September 2016. This is one of the few hotels in Palangalan Bun where hotels are best booked in advance, so I understand. The rooms are large and in excellent condition.
